-Slater gets a look as a db and makes the play.

-what does it mean when woicek has his arm in sling? Lol....passing drills chadjack fakes wheatley out of shoes...merriweather beat several times.

-Now he (slater) rips off the blue and goes in as a wr. Troy who?

-Ok....now we start ..rodney hits maroney...rodney complains to refs he is being held. Merriweather looking better. The drill is ones on ones going down the field with the refs. Cassell and guttierez alternating.

- Bryant down..grabbed knee...bb and trainer over him. Then he got up and walked off...over to the side now trainers looking. He is now up and running a bit after a while. Ill keep eye on him.

-Ok....meriweather makes a pick and actually holds on.bbryant back in...still flexing leg..but looks0good now. Harrison and williams do play our so called big dime.

-Mayo and sey look great....its bru and williams then hobson and mayo..inside.

Thanks for the info on Bryant.

He posts on here as well. So he will see it

Good stuff, thanks!

Anybody else struck by how often we get positive reports on Slater? Pretty impressive for an uncommonly inexperienced rookie trying to learn 2 different positions plus a couple of key ST roles.

:rocker:

Meriweather took a lot of flack for all his missed INTs last year. But as I'm sure BB would point out, if you miss an INT, that still means you were in position to make the INT.

In other words--the instincts are there, and, with luck, the ball control will be there soon enough, too. :D

Good stuff, thanks!

Amen. I just don't see how (as some people believe) Slater fails to make the team.

Thanks for the update! Your dad must be happy to actually see some action after attending a walkthrough yesterday.

It's gonna be tough with all the good feelings for Aiken around here. Can't see us keeping six receivers, five running bacls/fullbacks, three QBs. It's unBelichick-like.

Great thread SBB. Doesn't your Dad ever work??

I happened to have been there to day as well (yes, I do work)

Very touching end when Kraft came down as they had a tribute to Andre Tippett. Entire team surrounded Tip and speeches by both he and RK were quite touching. I am sure Patriots Today will have them as the cameras were rolling. Patriots announcer treated crowd to old time Andre yells (same guy that does the calls at home games). Kraft noted that Tip hold the NFL record of 35 sacks in a two year period by a LB - take that LT.

As I watched I came upon a Neal sighting on the field as some of the pupers joined the team. Neal looked good, no cast, limp or bandages at all. I did not see Matt Light, he has missed a bunch of practices now - where is Matt Light??

Also noticed Rodney Harrison goofing on Willette making him carry his pads and totally ranking on the kid. Funny stuff there.

Love the info- thanks!

I could see him keeping more offense than we're used to as long as ST benefits. I wouldn't be shocked, though, if a Heath Evans gets cut, though (I'm assuming Eckel is gone).

Like the fact that Chad Jackson separated Wheatley from his shoes. He'll probably start off in the slot if he makes the top four this year so the fact that he's doing well against what will be a nickelback in our system is good.

This could be Izzo's last stand with the team.
