I'm the biggest Brady homer of all time (sharing the title with almost everyone in New England), but that is a terrible argument. Jacoby was playing with a broken hand and couldn't even throw the ball. In the three games before that he and Garoppolo lit it up before getting injured. If anything...
Left tackles have always been paid way more, because their job is more important. If a front-side pass rusher gets free, the QB can try to get rid of the ball faster. If it's the backside, there isn't much they can do.
Tank for Tua is okay, but the big-brain play is to pick up some top young talent in the draft next year, maybe even trade down some, and then Lose for Lawrence. Lawrence is the absolute prototype of an elite pocket passer.
He is a beast, the defense struggled big time when he was out. He's an underrated player who doesn't get the attention he deserves. That said, there's a limit to every player's values, and there's probably a team willing to overpay him. Winning in this league is about finding diamonds in the...
The end of the Super Bowl last year taught me to never take Brady's game winning drives for granted. Every one of them is an amazing achievement. There are so many things that can go wrong, it's a testament to Brady's greatness that he makes it seem so routine.
I predict Super Bowl literally every year. I had reservations in the preseason about this roster, that through 3 weeks have been proven correct. You guys are horrible though, they're not that bad.
My primary complaint was lack of depth on offense behind Gronk/Edelman, the linebackers being...
It's early in the season and there's still plenty of time for this team to improve. My concern was and continues to be depth. More so than most years, it seems like we're going to need Gronk and Edelman to stay healthy for the offense to produce, and we probably need Flowers, Hightower and...
I'm mad at the team but not worried. I don't think this game reflects much on the rest of the season--Miami is a unique challenge with their d-line, and we had no Gronk which means our offense basically didn't resemble what it will be for the rest of the season.
I'm not worried about it. MVP is a regular season stats award. Brady and Wentz's stats are pretty close right now. Whoever has better stats over the last 5 weeks will win.
Trade 2011 AFCCG for 2006 AFCCG. Under the rules we would have to lose to the 06 Bears, but it would deprive Peyton a title while giving it to the living legend, Rex Grossman. It would also hurt Eli's legacy by drawing Rex Grossman comparisons.
Unless it truly is the passer rating award, I don't think a player who choked as hard and as often as Matt Ryan should win the MVP. With <5 minutes to play in the fourth quarter of close games, he was as bad as I've ever seen. 4 and outs, interceptions, you name it. The man lost to Alex Smith by...
Tom Brady has thrown TWO interceptions and lost ZERO fumbles this season. According to Pro Football Reference, his 0.5 Interception % is second only to Damon Huard's 11 TD and 1 INT season (min 6 starts and 100 pass attempts: Player Season Finder Query Results | Pro-Football-Reference.com)...
