Re: Congrats Tom Brady

I'm anxious for the photos. If this one has the cleft chin we may have to gear up for a QB controversey in about 2030...

As I've said before, how funny would it be if Brady's kid ended up being a defensive lineman? :)

Won't happen, kids usually get their mom's body type. Both of Brady's sons will be tall and slender.

Re: Congrats Tom Brady

Like most women she's been pregnant for 9 months now. She delivered like a pro on his day off. She was out shopping in Newton with her mom and sister over the weekend while her husband was on an out of town business trip like a lot of driven spouses who have important jobs they also love and that matter to and fulfill them...

His mind and his heart was in the game as it always is. Some of his teamates, pretty apparently not so much. Why so many here are so reluctant to question the other work ethic and level of effort and mentality of the 51 other guys he goes on these business trips with and focus on attempting to blame him given his consistent production history here floors me.

That you are compelled to preface congratulating him with a backhanded slap as a means of patting yourself on the back for believing you've got it all figured out is just pathetic. I think the only thing some of you are less knowledgable about than x's and o's is life in the real world.

You can't seem to accept that there can and will be a difference of opinion on a particular subject.

You also can't seem to accept that Brady is human and has bad games every once in a great while.

Not the case at all with my son or my sister and brother. BUT, even if Brady's son does get his body type, he'll still be tall and slender. Brady needed to work to bulk up....he was skinny at first.

Brady's Rocky Moment

First of all congradulation to Tommy and becoming a father again!!!

Do you guys remmember Rocky 2, when Adrienne has a baby and then wakes up from her coma and says "Rocky do one thing for me......WIN"

Come on Gisele we are counting on you! "Tommy do one thing for me....WIN"

Re: Brady's Rocky Moment

Wouldn't mind seeing Clubber Lang playing LB, Apollo Creed (Weathers played for the Raiders) at SS, Ivan Drago as the edge rusher on 3rd down and Thunderlips on the d-line.:D

Cool! Frankly I had forgotten about her being preggers, even with all the hoopla about it last spring or summer or whenever it was.

Now we get to see how the haters twist this around...

According to the article Gisele has a twin sister!!!!

Well that's pretty hypocritical of you. You pull the exact same crap all the time regarding different players, so I guess you're calling yourself out for being an idiot too?

FWIW, I agree with you, I just think it's pretty funny that you, of all people, would try to make this point.

Oh, I know he's human - it's the rest like you who don't grasp that. I also know all QB's are and that is something most of you seem to be unaware of. And this was not one of his rare bad games. I've seen those and they're generally corkers. He was not the problem this week or really any week this season, although this team appears to have a myriad of them. His stats underscore that. He's had 5 games this season with QB ratings in excess of 100. We are 3-2 in those games and the 2 losses were by 1 point despite leading comfortably by human standards in the third quarter of both games. He's second in the league in attempts and completing 66% of them. He'd likely be completing more if his #1WR was catching more than 59% of the balls targeted for him. Luckily he has a couple of guys who are managing to haul in 70-80% of the passes targeted for them. If he had a couple of more solid targets, like say a TE in the pattern who is hauling in 70% of the throws he is targeted on, and a running game that could convert on 3rd or 4th and short, we might be 10-2. If he had an OL that could pass and run block consistently or a defense with an effective pass rush or the ability to get off the field on 3rd or 4th down, we might be undefeated. But presently none of that is the case, is it...

That is your assessment of it. The NFLN replay is on tonight at 9:30pm I will be watching that and will analyze why I felt that Brady was not himself.

In the meantime, you are entitled to your perspective and I am entitled to mine.

Re: Congrats Tom Brady

Luca Brasi would be proud. Their first child, is a Masculine child.

Good stuff. Tom must be working the Y chromosones which is interesting because girls run in his immediate family. He has 2 or 3 sisters. For those that don't know, a little lesson in biology, the male determines the sex of the baby which would have been news to Henry the 8th.

Congrats to Tom and Giselle. Perfect for it to happen midweek too and avoid any interference with the game. Maybe they had it induced? Regardless great news for them and for us pats fans as well :D

Great news for Tom and wife. Congrats!

I don't know if any players will be visiting but the he might not want to let Maroney hold the baby.:D

Re: Brady's Rocky Moment

For the life of me, I can't figure out what Micky (Burgess Meredith) says after, "What are we waiting for?"

"Take this."????????????

I needed a belly laugh on this dank day. Thanks.

Sean

Congratulations to Tom and Gisele!! TFB III I love it! I was surprised by this news, with everything else going on I forgot about Gisele's due date, how cool for them :) and for us because we get to watch the boys grow up! See which one will take TFB's place :p

Re: Brady's Rocky Moment

Just to backtrack. Could you imagine if we had never gotten Brady (or even Bledsoe)? So many teams could have gotten Brees and now they're just kicking themselves!

The guy at nflstatanalysis.net provides us with another interesting Brees analysis on the NYTimes Fifth Down blog.

Also interesting stuff on the 20 best QB performances of the season. Brady's on their twice - not bad...against Tennessee and, believe it or notm, against Miami this past week....
