Is there any doubt that the Zebras have been told to anoint this rube as a Saint?
Calls in Lucas field are disgraceful every week
IMHO

It's a damned joke. No fun league.

What next...start flaggin the Jesters backs for running too hard? How bout an "excessive blocking" call?

And another pass interferance
Unbelievable

The Colts are the perfect example of why the NFL is fixed. Not every game but they definitely have favorites. The Pats in 2001 benefited from that, no question. It made a great story for that year.

Manning is the face of the NFL. Having him win IS a win for the NFL. How blatantly they do it is what is embarrassing.

Sorry, but the Patriots never got the bogus calls that the Colts get. You are obviously refering to the tuck rule, but that was the correct call to make. You obviously forgot that the Patriots had that same call go against them in a loss to the Jets earlier in 2001.

No, the correct call was roughing the passer, 15 yards and an automatic first down.

The tuck rule was correctly interpreted, but it shouldn't have been needed in the first place.

It does seem that Indy gets more than their share of bad calls....anyone remember the Steelers game in Jan 06? There was no excuse for that

The Pats benefited from whistles being swallowed on PIs, until they stopped being swallowed.

That's the main favor I recall them getting from the refs.

Even that was never all that consistent, e.g. the Tebucky Jones fumble recovery for TD that was called back due to McGinest doing to Faulk what he'd been doing every other play too.

The one true favor on the tuck rule is that the film wasn't all THAT conclusive, so the reversal may have been payback for the ref just forgetting the rule existed, or else for missing the roughing the passer, both of which aren't technically reversible. But that wasn't favoring a team so much as it was doing what is both right AND personally expedient, by correcting your big blunder while you can.

I have believed for a long time that the NBA is fixed so I wouldn't put it past the NFL

How many times have we seen the big stars protected. MJ comes to mind for starters.
