Re: List of reasons for why we hate the Jets

They also got to watch their rivals win 3 superbowls :) It was very kind of the Patriots really :)

Four actually. Most Jets fans hate the Giants as much if not more than the Patriots.

Re: List of reasons for why we hate the Jets

They stole Parcells first. Only difference is we got 3 Super Bowl's out of it. They got to play in an AFCCG and have more shattered dreams.

This describes the franchises perfectly:D

Their best QB of all time has more INTs than TDs....:eek:Overrated? I think so.

The Gang Green: Jets sign Howard Green

The New York Jets signed NT Howard Green to fill in NT Kris Jenkins' spot on the roster. Jenkins, who suffered a season ending injury on Monday against Baltimore, will be replaced in the starting lineup by DT Sione Pouha, while Green will serve as Pouha's backup. According to various sources, Green signed a 2-year contract.

Green, 6'2" and 365 lbs, appeared in 12 games for the Jets last season, registering 23 (16 solo) tackles. He signed with the Washington Redskins this offseason but was cut before the season began.

Anyone have any scouting info on this guy? Sounds like just a JAG (although a mighty big one).

Now the Onion is weighing in.

Roger Goodell Urges Jets To Have More Sensible Goals Than Winning Super Bowl | The Onion - America's Finest News Source

"As commissioner, you hate to see one of your teams get disappointed, so I just told them, 'Look, the Super Bowl isn't for everybody,'" said Goodell, adding that while he understands the Jets went deep into the playoffs last season, it's important for them to recognize the difference between being a solid contender and a fluke hot streak.

The Jests will continue to show the league why they suck.

Good game guys. Enjoyed my trip to NY for this one. Told you I'd show no matter what. Got on the field pregame, got some great photos of Welker and Brady, and of course my fav Jet players. Welker as always was unbelievable and that one handed catch by Moss was incredible.

Apparently...the Pats suck a good deal more.
Thats what is so funny. You think that beating a divsion rival at home is such an enormous accomplishment it overcomes 41 years of sucking.
If you don't suck, you have to win this game, but winning this game does not prove that you don't suck.
Lets see what happens when you come here for the rematch.

You suck as well.

Shouldn't you be in the "Jets have the worst offense in the NFL" thread you started?

Dude... the Jets could win the Super Bowl, and they'd still suck. Hope that helps. ;)

P.S. The Jets deserved the win today, although I thought the PI calling was a bit lopsided.

Didnt say they do, I said they may. Which is still to be seen.
One game doesnt answer that question.
