Week 3 maps: if you aren't in upstate NY or NE...

The late game on CBS here in Central NC is San Diego @ Seattle while most of the country has Indy @ Denver, which I'd much prefer to see. The only reason I can imagine for it is that Philip Rivers went to NC State (which is here in Raleigh). But that can't be the reason, can it?

Funny how one little part of North Carolina gets San Diego at Seattle rather than Indy at Denver, and Tampa opted for Washington at St Louis over Philly at Jacksonville in other games.

Yeah that little patch of blue in North Carolina also caught my eye as being very peculiar. My best guess for the reason why (and I admit I am pulling this out of thin air) is that maybe Rivers has a following in Raleigh since he went to college there?

I just made a post which says the same thing. I made my post before reading yours so please don't think I am plagiarizing.

The Rivers-NC State connection is the only one I can think of, but I still find it a bit strange since I don't think Rivers is from that area, he just went to college there.

Looks like I'll either go to the Bear's Den here in Hershey, or if I can get my stuff together early enough, maybe I'll drive down to Baltimore & catch the game at the Don't Know tavern. I haven't been there before, but it's supposed to be a good place to watch Pats & Dead Sux games.

You'd drive all the way from Hersey to Bmore?
Why not just stream or go to a local bar?

Yea no kidding man Hershey is a pretty good drive from Bmore. I would prob opt for the sports bar even if you have to drive to the city. Streaming sucks unless you can tether it to ur tv. or have a kick-ass monitor.
