It's easy, and only takes a few moments. This season and last combined, only one other NFL player has had 2 Ints, and a sack in the same game. Charles Woodson did it last year, when he won the AP NFL defensive player of the year award in 2009.
Anyone know who the last linebacker to do it was ?
Ted Bruschi???
Mike Vrabel????
Willie McGinest?????
Really! For all those folks saying it was Henne's lame-brained pass, they should look at those catches. On the second one, he flew through the air and laid out for the ball like a WR. Chung's INT was a gimme. Nink's 2nd pick was anything but.Anyone else see how he used his hands like a veteran receiver to snag those balls? I was quite impressed by that little display of pass-catching technique.
He did play tight end in HS and caught a couple TDs as a goalline TE at Purdue...
Ninko up the point where he got his first INT was getting dominated on the run. Just getting blown up out of play consistently allowing Ricky and Ronnie to run the outside for 7-8 yards a pop. As long as he cannot maintain the edge he is a liability on running downs.
That being said he's a decent pass rusher and seems to be a very good coverage LB with great hands. I think the coaching staff needs to put him in a position to succeed and play him on passing downs. Just don't ask him to hold his ground and set the edge.
