Stopping Jets offense

Ok take Colt McCoy over a guy who won a road playoff game...well 2 actually...and does make plays....yeah he's young...makes mistakes...but works hard and is film rat...all you can ask for from young qb...take Colt McCoy and be the Browns for a decade...
Are you saying Sanchez would have won a playoff game on the Browns?
Sanchez had next to nothing to do with those playoff wins. You would have beat Cincy with zero pass attempts and you won despite him in SD.

Top 15 Quarterbacks:

1. Tom Brady
2. Peyton Manning
3. Brees
4. Rivers
5. Roethlisberger
6. Schaub
7. Vick
8. Rodgers
9. Eli Manning
10. Cassel
11. Garrard
12. Ryan
13. Flacco
14. Freeman
15. Orton
16. Romo
17. Kolb
18. Fitzpatrick
19. Cutler
20. Bradford
21. McCoy

So you would start an nfl franchise with Castle, Garrard, Cutler, Orton and Fitzpatrick over Sanchez and Braford?

Am I really reading this correctly?

Orton, Garrard and Fitzpatrick might not even be the opening day starters for their respective teams next year.

Zero Zorro-chez WON two playoff games????Did you even bother to look at the stats? SD MISSED THREE CHIP SHOTS for crying out loud...how lucky can one team get....Shonn Greene carried the offense and when he went down Zero Zorro DISAPPEARED in the 2nd half against the Colts. The Sanchooch suited up and played in two playoff games, that's about it...krist, the Rats could have had Browning Nagle handing off and gone just as far. Take your goony goofy goo goo green Sanchez pom poms and hit the bricks.....

Yeah ok sanchez didnt make plays in any of them....DUMB....whatever..who cares...its all bout this game Mon night...just to jab a little....that scrub Sanchez is 2-1 vs your boy Brady....had to throw that out there...and I think Brady is fantastic...

Sanchez had nothing to do with the wins...did you watch him roll out vs. SD on 3rd and 5 from the 5??? and hit Keller...btw as a rookie..on the road...look..I know Brady is your Jeter...and if the Red Sox had a young player at SS the Yank fans would kill him...but damn...

would put Flacco a lot higher

oh wait you traded him...Hanley Ramirez..sorry

Come on. He threw for what 100 yards? What was he 10/21?
OK, the Jets would have lost if I was their QB, but they would have won with any starter in the NFL and most backups in Sanchez place.

oh wait...no cap and the number one outlay of capital for the past twenty years totaling more than TEN other MLB franchises...way to really make a point about the Patriots....your idiocy is astounding

If you have a moment, could you list your top 15 qb's to start a franchise with? Really interested in your take on this.

Thats too time consuming and requires a lot of thought. In any event who I would start my franchise with isnt the same as who is the best, because I'd pick all of the young backups in the league over an aging veteran.

But they are all playing better QB this year than Sanchez.
Actually I'd leave Fitzpatrick out because he hasnt played a meaningful game so its hard to judge him.

Just saying....you Pats fans.....I'm sure are Sox fans..and talking bout Sanchez...a young qb...God forbid..they rival has a young gun...and Yanks can spend cuz they win....btw...if the Sox were smart give Jeter 20 mil tomorrow..cuz Yanks are lowballing him....

Of course.

Which is why I think it is a better way to judge a qb then a "best right now" type analysis.

Of course guys like Sanchez, Flacco, Ryan, and Freeman, at this very moment might not be as good as Cassle, Garrard, or Orton, but at the same time I would argue that they will be better in the long term.

12. Eli Manning
13. Michael Vick

15. Matthew Stafford

Going even further...

16. Josh Freeman
17. Kyle Orton
18. Donovan McNabb
19. Colt McCoy
20. Jason Campbell
21. Mark Sanchez

#21 is where I would honestly put Sanchez at this point in his career, taking all of the above before him.

The NY Jets backed into the playoffs last year with the Colts basically not playing the last game of the season. With all this supposed offensive talent around him in 2010, Sanchez should be putting up 1984 Marino-esque numbers when in fact he is putting some of the worst numbers for a starting quarterback in 2010!

NFL Stats: by Player Position

Not to mention the Pats go embarassed by Balt at home....

Its a terrible way to judge a QB because it involves guessing at what they will be.
All that matters right now is how they play right now. How they develop from here is a crapshoot.
