Yes, it is time for some confessions. Come on, it is good for the soul. I'll start.

I admit it. I .... washed my jersey before the game. :(

I apologize. This was all my fault.

At the grocery store on Saturday they had those football-shaped mylar balloons with team logos for all 8 playoff teams. They were on sale: $2.79

Yeah, I bought a Patriots one.

I've never done that before and that must have done it.

My bad.

:bricks:

My wife gave me a haircut Sunday. I never get haircuts on Sundays. My bad.

I left my patriot jersey at home when I went on holiday in France...

I wore a patriots long sleeve T under my scrub jacket @ work and wore the jacket open.

I have never done that before Sunday....My bad y'all

I forced my 18month old to wear his Brady jersey...he was resistant at first but when I acted like it was the greatest thing to happen to him, he gave in.

He walked around the house for the next hour mumbling "Tom Brady" over and over. I almost took the shirt off him when TB threw the pick but left it on after the D came up big.

As the game went on, he refused to let me take the shirt off him...alas, he ended up falling asleep in it.

I prematurely took the super bowl off from work. :confused2:

I never wear my jersey, it hangs in the closet. Seems when I wear it, they lose. I'll never wear it again. :singing:

...until next year

Jinx #1- I need to travel for work next week. I made plans to travel on Sunday am so I could watch the AFCCG on the West Coast.

Jinx #2- My Tom Brady jersey is cursed. The three times I have worn it was Sb 42, 2008 Opening Day and the BAL playoff game. I did not put it on but my 8 year old snuck in my closet and wore it during the game on Sunday.

All my fault.....

Honestly, I threw out my Meriweather jersey. SB42, Brady ACL, this game and the Ravens game. Screw that cursed thing.

LMAO..... you guys are the best.
I drink coffee every morning from my red Pats coffee cup, it was dirty on Sunday so I used a plain one. Thats probably good for one incompletion or missed tackle I guess. As much as this sucks, its so much better than 1-15, 5-11, 2-14.... Win lose or draw I like it when the Pats are SB favorites almost every year, hard not to.

I wore my brand new flannel PJ's my wife got me for xmas.... Not my tried and true football PJ's.... I just never felt comphy all game.

Yea man I took the afc championship off planned to go to foxboro so i guess that's my number 2. Now I have to figure out what to do with this useless vacation time :bricks:

I was more focused on getting out an offer on a house I really wanted than preparing for the game. In fact, I didn't pull on my BB hoodie until minutes before kickoff, in sharp contrast to other gamedays, where it's ALL about the game.

Well, guess what. We lost the game and I didn't get the house. So yeah, a big fat FAIL of a weekend in every capacity.

Perhaps I'm the biggest culprit, I usually watch the game alone and fold laundry, this time My Girlfriend watched the game with me and helped me do my laundry. :bricks:

Sorry guys. My bad.

On a positive note - Does anyone really understand how good this team can be next year?

No no no, you guys are all wrong. It was me.

Right before SB42, I bought a new plasma tv.

Right before SB42 my wife dropped and broke my favorite Patriots coffee cup

The night before SB42 my son somehow crushed me at Madden.

He was 11.

This curse has gone on long enough, I think (hope) karma is ready to call it even.

Six picks in the first three rounds, nine picks in the entire draft? I do.

Thanks a lot guys!!! I did everything that I usually do! I hate you guys.
