Has AC picked off Brady more than any other CB?

Seems like it.

Best stat ever:

Welker, through 5 weeks: 740 receiving yards, 5 TDs
GRONKnandez, through 5 weeks: 548 receiving yards, 7 TDs
All JEST wide receivers, through 5 weeks: 576 receiving yards, 5 TDs

Very impressed with the Jets defense up until the 4th quarter. I was thinking they lost a step but now I'm thinking they play us well because they know how to better than probably any other team. They definately know how to blitz our team. I don't know why it doesnt work against other teams for them. Bottom line we gassed them and it showed late. We rock.

Best called game since last week:}. Love the balance and if they continue to run it well everyone benefits. I'm thinking play action will be our friend over the coming weeks.

BJGE played superb today. I'm digging the rbbc now as I'm thinking Ridley will also have his weeks to shine. It will all depend on the match up and type of team we are playing. 2 different backs, 2 different styles will keep the running game fresh and full of adversity. Especially with Woodhead back there as well.

Revis is the best cb in the NFL and I don't even think it's close. I've never seen anyone run with Welker the way he does. Unfortunately for the Jets they can't clone him to be in 4 spots at once. Cromartie is a bumbling idiot and I was glad the Pats ran right at him. Kyle Wilson while getting playing time is still a work in progress bordering on a train wreck.

Their running game started to show glimpses of it's old self and then bottomed out late when they really needed it. Sanchez didn't do anything to kill his teams chances of winning. He played decent and moved in the pocket pretty good despite some pressure from our defense.

Good win.

I'm just glad we don't have to endure a week of knowing we lost to the NY Jitz.

I'm happy with the way we played on both sides of the ball today. One thing I did notice today is that Solder did not play well at all. Now the jets D can make a lot of people look bad so hopefully we can hang it on them, solder needs to step it up in big games like this however.

just got back from the Razor....once again...sans voce....gotta watch the DVR......my question is did any of you watching on the tube today see how many PI penalties Revis committed? Had to be at least twenty....he grabs and pulls the WR beyond five yards on almost every single play...guess they don't call it because he can stay with any receiver...has to be something...Billy D called me on my cell in the 1st quarter and I moved from 310 down to 108 , six rows back...yeah, I'm a sleaze, sosueme...Gronk was yakking up on the sideline and constantly drinking fluids...anyone know why?

Gotta just say, that was a hard fought game...BJGE stepped right on their neck and wouldn't let them up. Uncalled clip on that Jet runback right in front of us...no flag....Hernandez had this ugly looking brace on his knee...you see a lot of little things when you're close on the sideline.....those D linemen sweat like racehorses after four furlongs...oh, one more small observation....Santonio Holmes is THE poster boy for the LOOK AT ME!!!!! generation...that clown is a joke.

Gronk was so sick he didn't warm up before the game. But he was out there for 60 snaps and made some plays... Hernandez seemed off/tight early but I think it was the brace and the mental effect it has on guys the first time they wear one...he got looser and a little faster as the game wore on.

Revis does get the he's so elite benefit of doubt... What annoys me is when a WR runs into one of our DB's arms it's defensive PI and when Welker gets whacked around by two JET DB's sandwiching him in the EZ it's a mistake on his part according to Simms...

heh...yeah...Dinky McDunkchez...did he even break 150 yards passing?...I wanted to see him get smashed today like the Ravens did to him last week, but at least there were no Jumpy McFistpumperchez outbursts..if THAT is what the plan in their "Back To The Ground Round and Pound Offense" is, then welcome to 4-12...you HAVE to be able to pass and put up scores and yardage in today's NFL...Sancrud looks like he's been told to stand in the corner and shut up.

Re: Game Thoughts: Jets Edition

Not saying you were wrong about the assignments being blown, but two of sacks I thought Brady held onto the ball too long.
That is much better than forcing it somewhere. I like when Brady is willing to take the sack on 1st or 2nd down, and have another shot. Its much better than a fumble or pick.

Re: Game Thoughts: Jets Edition

jets defense is pretty good
We scored 30 points and had 450 yards of offense. When our defense allows that, even in garbage time in a win, people here call us the worst defense ever.

jets running back looks good
Really? Less than 100 yard and less than 4.0 per carry.

not a big fan of guyton

Bodden had one of his better games today
I actually thought Guyton made a lot of plays, and aside from the one play on Keller Bodden seemed invisible to me. Wasn't Arrington playing corner ahead of him in the base D?

Brady seems just generally pisssed about stuff, seems to be in a grumpy mood, or it could be the same idiot reporter asking him stund questions

85 gotta be a better blocker

i luv WW

great challenges

i luv, always have from the start, BJGE. Once he decides to cut up field he does with power. Love to see that balance too

Brady seemed a bit off today (from his usual robot-like accuracy)
He was 24 of 33. A couple of those passes were thrown to a spot because of the coverage. A perfect throw takes the receiver to the spot. One in particular to Hernandez was a bit overthown, but if he hadn't overthrown, the DB would have had a play on it.

A win next week would be a wonderful way to enter into the bye week and get some guys healthy
5 and 1 would look good.

anybody know who the O lineman is that subs in at guard on both sides?...cuz he sticks out in real time as a Max lane clone...Welch?...Gelch?...Solder got confused a few times when the Jets went with their patented unbalanced rushes...man he is a big kid though...we really need Volmer back and at full strength...I think they subbed along the line a lot today because it was steamy...lots of huffing out there

Play of the game: Shaun Ellis destroying LaClassian. "We physical, they finesse".

with Simms then making it sound like Tomlinson was the one who made the play. i could not believe it.

I seem to recall 2 long passes to Hernandez that looked overthrown. It made me wonder whether Hernandez with the big knee brace was simply half a step slower than Brady expected him to be.

Thought that too. One of them was replayed,. and it was clear it had to be thrown out there or would have been defended. I can only assume the reason Brady threw it was because he thought Hern was a step quicker than he was, as you are saying.

Anyone remember a play when Tomlinson was on the ground and the Patriots defender apparently tripped over him so couldn't make the sack and let Sanchez complete a pass? The replay clearly showed Mr "Classy" neatly scissoring his legs around him.
