Will we still be in a 4-3 next year?

What would be really interesting is to see what BB's actual thoughts are on the defense.

Dion Sanders called the defense hot garbage. The mediot howling is unbelieveable.

However, he seemed to be very pleased with the Denver adjustments.

I bet he has a different evaluation criteria.

Well, once again his team is winning when the pundit wisdom was that he wouldn't. I'm sure he's pleased as hell about that.

Deion Sanders now there's a guy with coaching talent.....:bricks: Some of these guys just talk to hear themselves and Sanders is a prime example. There are very few players who do the media thing after their playing career who are very good at it, very few.

At first I felt BB would continue to play a 4-3 scheme next season, but with the apparent evolution happening within the TE position, it makes a lot of sense that BB would want to get ahead of the curve and get back to playing a 3-4 and find ways to cover the middle of the field, and screens right away.

In BB offense, we have had a TE in a slot, and at wide out. Corners can't cover TEs. If the league follows in BB lead, bring the blitz will only hurt you defensively, the TE will bump the pressure and run out for a pass.

We need cover linebackers, and great safeties with good football smarts.

Its easier to teach linebackers to cover running lanes than it is to teach a LB to think about what would happen if the TE or RB goes out on a time delayed passing route.

Word has it that Belichick is so tired of the question that he is renaming the defenses as follows:

8-3

7-4

6-5

5-6

4-7

If that does not solve it then he will go to a 11 Defense

:D:D:D

It'll probably be a ?-? or ?-?

With McCourty he dont care about 4-3, 3-4, dime or nickel. Playbook of opposite team is run first down, long pass 2nd down, and if they dont make it, in 3rd throw to McCourty
