The block letters are nice too. Good to see Nike is trying new things. They kind of had their hands tied to tradition when unveiling new uniforms a few weeks ago, but the alternates is where Nike's design will really shine.

I LOVE these uniforms. The best part about them is that they are simply terrible, and my team does not wear them. Really entertaining stuff.

I hated these Broncos uni's the moment I saw them, but these Steelers uni's are much much worse.

Does anyone know; did Goodells investigation of players in the bounty scandal proceed from NO direct to Pitt? Maybe its just advance planning?

The fans are complaining, the players themselves are complaining, the mailman is complaining, the people on the TV and radio are complaining...no one is happy about these ridiculous unis.

Seriously, and what QB is going to miss a corner/safety blitz out of the corner of his eye with those things?

As much as I hate the Steelers, they have one of the most iconic, classic, and still perfectly designed uniforms in the league. And they choose to wear this monstrosity at least twice next season. What a waste.

Who would think this is a good idea? Isn't the objective with these throwbacks to sell more jerseys? Who would wear this?

Another poster already hit on this, but there had to be a team of people envision, design, pitch, and approve this before the NFL rubber stamped it. What the hell are people thinking? :idontgetit:

They choose these throwbacks to commemorate 80 seasons of Steeler football and they just so happened to wear these atrocities 80 seasons ago when the team was called the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1934.

Hence the 80th season patch. These are absolutely horrible, I love it.
