Jets threads after that win: SB this year? We are so good!

Only thing that upset me today was Stephen Hill 5 catches 89 yards 2 TDs

whats up with drew brees throwing balls 20 feet in the air, how the hell will his wrs go that high lol

Jets win their 44th consecutive September Super Bowl...congrats to all green bigmouths everywhere...blabber and blubber it up...October is only three weeks away.

they will make the DVD and signed ball for sale in 2 weeks.

then they will lose out the rest of the games......shall be interesting.

I was flipping to the game in between plays and I thought the Jets were far better than I thought they would and the Bills were far worse than I thought they would.

That said, it is the first week of the season. I don't expect the Jets to be this good all year nor the Bills to be this bad. A lot of misleading games the first week of the season.

I do! I've been saying the Bills were over hyped and the Jets will be better than what many posters on this board believe. In addition, the first week sometimes set the tone for the rest of the season.

Yuk it up and enjoy it while it lasts (about six days).

Well I won't write a song about it but, I did see some positives from The Jets O, was a bit disappointed in some aspects of the D, overall I give the Jets a positive grade.

Yuk Yuk

I don't put too much stock in the first week of the season. Granted the Bills have sucked all preseason. So they have to show something soon. I still think the Jets are not nearly as good as they showed today. I think the Bills' d-line might have been the most overrated this of the preseason. Sanchez had all the time in the world today from what I saw. If you don't pressure Sanchez, he has the potential to be good.

Agreed. When the 2003 Patriots went 14-2, and won the Superbowl, they lost the first game 31-0 to the Bills. First game doesn't mean everything!

That being said...the Jets needed this game in a BIIIIIIIG way. Real big way.

Enjoy your weekends and I'll keep in touch.

I def don't think they will be great, but I don't think they will be terrible like some predicted. More like 9-7 competing for the wild card until the end. In the AFC that may be enough!

Darrelle Revis exits Jets opener with head injury - NFL.com

Revis was injured while making a tackle of Bills running back C.J. Spiller in the fourth quarter. While on the ground, he was accidentally kicked in the helmet by teammate Bart Scott.

Revis remained down on the field for several moments with his hands on his helmet. The Jets announced their All-Pro star was questionable to return.

Your team got the job done, and then some. That's a nice start for them. Enjoy the win, strut about a bit, and have a good time. :)

While the Jets typically are at a big disadvantage at the QB position, this game was decided by the pathetic play of Ryan Fitzpatrick.

So, the Jets gave up 184 rushing yards to Spiller and Jackson..

I'm looking forward to see what the Jets Run Defense does in the next 3 weeks against the Steelers and 49ers..

lose miserably......then they will all come back down to earth and realize they really do suck.

It's funny that you say that. Jets had a offensive line performing terribly last year, yet it was all Sanchez's fault when the team didn't do well. I invite you all to contemplate that we really couldn't tell if Sanchez grew as a QB last year based on the lack of talent around him. We'll see his progression this season.
