just annouced....Darrius Heyward-Bey, Michael Huff cut by Oakland Raiders

Winfield, please pleas sign him...he would help our secondary so much, oh my dream Winfield, Talib and Dennard

Could Heyward-Bey come to New England?

I didn't watch him play much last year but I know he was a 7th overall pick a few years ago and is a 6'2 WR who ran a 4.3 at the combine
606 yards, 5 TDs and 14.8YPC last year (the 14.8 is also his career average). Not worthy of the high pick he got but he does have size and speed (you noted the 40 time and he's 6'2", 215lbs). I keep thinking of Doug Gabriel, though.

DHB...pass for me

Why? If you take away the fact that he has hands of stone, can't even run the simplest routes, and just plain sucks; he has a lot of upside.

I would like to see him in NY screwing up every other play

Put him in the slot and he can be a replacement for Welker. Same thing with Cribbs. Don't forget that Brady will be throwing them the ball so it'll be fine.

Yes. Cribbs and DHB could replace welker

I think DHB would do well here with Brady, Had close to 1000 yards two years ago. Hasn't had solid qb play over there, McFadden and Moore have constantly been hurt to take the "pressure" off of him...

Think he'd be a cheap low risk flyer type of pick that would pay off here. Shouldn't of been a first round pick, I think everyone but Oakland knew that at the time, but I certainly would gamble on him no question (if the price is reasonable)

He's something we don't have and I think he would look good across from lloyd and either welker/edelman/amendola/woodhead in the slot

Would like one of DHB or DX to kick the tire on for low risk high reward

If you ain't down with DX, we've got 2 words for ya......

Darrius Heyward-Bey cut there is the young fast WR everyons been asking for and i think he can be signed at a cap friendly price

Walter wouldn't be able to replace Welker's production but he'd be a solid no BS veteran contributor. He's not on Welker's level but he makes a lot catches for 1st downs. I bet Walter would thrive w/ TB chucking it to him.

I was going to say - duh, anyone would thrive with TB chucking it to them...but then I remembered Ocho Cinco.

Well ...
