A Football Life:"I'm a Very Classy Person" Still Crying After All These Tears

...

This is a video of a tv so the quality isn't so great. Chris Collins gives some background to the game. NECN ...

Troy Brown briefly doing the lights out in the runway is a personal favorite..

So who actually watched it last night?

I did. And it is absolutely comical one of the guys defining moments was beating us as a Jet even though he and his team would blow it the following week anyway. I think his quote was something to the affect of redemption.

Just when I thought you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!

Basically "the Pats blew any chance I had at a SB 2 or 3 times but I stopped them once too and it was glorious I really cant picture a SB win being as good"

I forgot about that. Yeah, you are a classy guy Lady Ann.

I remember Drayton Florence was talking trash to the crowd and even Schottenheimer had a few comments after the game... something about how we can't keep putting in new players and expect to keep winning...
Come on. You guys need to keep your facts straight. The Patriots had suffered a bunch of injuries going into that game in Foxboro. Schottenheimer just said that when a team loses players like that it is very difficult to maintain their usual excellent standard of play. He was saying the Chargers had caught the Patriots at the right time, not that the Patriots were in a downward trend. He was being gracious in victory.

Someone above said that LT shouldn't even be considered for the HOF. Good grief.

If LT was on the Patriots a lot of you would be defending him to the bitter end.

I thought it fascinating to see how riled up BB got the Patriot players over Merriman. Dang, they were pissed! Well played BB.

Btw, Drayton Florence did act immaturely after that game in which the Chargers stomped the Patriots. He was disciplined for it by Schottenheimer and taken aside by Chargers' vets and told to knock it off.

Funny seeing even Troy Brown mocking that dance. LOL!

Rivers calling Hobbs the "sorriest corner in the league"... ouch
I always thought you guys were too hard on ol' Hobbs. That guy was a gamer. Played hurt and did whatever BB asked. Didn't like what he did after that game but respected the hell out of him for his career.

After that Pats loss to them in 05, at home 41-17, I seem to remember Lady T claiming they were such a better team, they'd beat the Pats 9 out 10 times. I mean, who says that into a mic after beating a good team?

I'd have danced on the logo too.
I'm pretty sure he said that after the playoff loss, not after the regular season game ending the Patriots winning streak.

LT...million dollar talent and a 10 cent head.

This thread title should be in the HOF.

I listened to the Opening Drive today on Sirius for the first time in God knows how long, and Tomlinson still sounded completely illiterate. I turned it off within two minutes.

I'd love to hear Rosie Colvin respond to LT's a football life. His yelling down to the Chargers locker room, Lights out baby there's been a power outage, is just classic.

Personally I agree with that and I had no problem with what he said but knowing this team very well I was not surprised at all that some of the Patriots did take offense to it...

Boohoo! They mocked an obnoxious dance! They danced on our logo! I can't speak! I have a lot of trouble with words! Especially with the use of plurals!

I'm a Very Classy Person - YouTube

McGinest was on with Lady T and Roid Boy Merriman on NFLN previewing tonight's A Football Life and those two simpletons still get all worked up about this. LDT is so ******* dumb it's comical. The newest member of NFLN gaggle of idiots.

I listen to LT when he is on NFL radio, he is actually a heck of an analyst. So I have to disagree with you on that.

No he isn't. He's an imbecile who can barely speak the English language. So I have to disagree with you on that.

LT may have said done some head scratching things, but he is no imbecile. The man has a good heart (note his many philanthropic works) and has set himself up for life after football (most imbeciles don't).

still though.

That game in San Diego ranks up their as one of my favourite games of all time.

LIGHTS OUT!!

The fact they're still p!ssy about it only makes me enjoy it more.

Couldn't agree more
