That game was sickening

That was a simple matter of survival on a short week with injuries against a division foe fighting for its life, and avoiding further attrition. I don't care how ugly it was.

Seriously. Very rarely does a game versus the Jets end in a safe or blowout win, no matter the season (nor does a blowout win mean anything, given 2010). Especially on a Thursday night. And the Jets running offense (especially Ivory) is much better than it's given credit for.

Now they get a mini bye week to get Stork and Connolly back. Only issue is linebacker. A win is a win, especially against a hated division rival on a Thursday. That game wasn't sickening, it was pretty damn entertaining and worked out well in the end.

Hated the "lets not play to lose" approach on that last possession.

Teams who play that way usually do.

Sickening, whatever. We knew this was going to be a hard-fought game. Short week. We just lost the heart of our defense. We picked up guys at the local Rotary Club to start on the offensive line. The only thing that matters is that they made plays when it counted. Amendola was clutch. This is a big win for the team moving forward.

Who's this mysterious we? Have you seen the scores posted on the predict the score thread?
A 1-5 team almost won this game. That's right, 1-5. Mediocre quarterback, with a mediocre secondary.
Wonderful to win, but it's not like there weren't glaring problems throughout the game.
