Broncos-Chargers

I would still say the @Oak will be a cake walk
You're most likely correct, but every team has a wtf game every season. I recall the Steelers in the year following their last Super Bowl victory losing at Oakland, for one of only two victories by the Raiders that season.

Back-to-back road games are tough. Three in a row is brutal.

UPDATE 10:07 p.m. ET: NFL V.P. of officiating Dean Blandino has defended the decision on Twitter. “On the fumble that was reversed the forearm was down before ball came loose,” Blandino said. “Forearm down before elbow.” The movement of the ball before the forearm is down would seem to prevent a finding of indisputable visual evidence that the ruling of a fumble was incorrect. Former NFL referee Mike Carey has repeatedly said during the CBS broadcast that, in his view, the outcome of the replay review was incorrect.

On and on it goes...they have ZERO respect for any of us...as fans...as intelligent human beings...their arrogance is so astounding it begs the question "what exactly do they have as this gigantic "get out of jail" card they seem to possess?"

I truly believe the NFL doesn't think 99% of fans have HD tv's and can see how much they are screwing up.

That phone call from Roger Goodell:

"Peyton must win this nationally televised game."

Another reason why Goodell should be fired. The officiating this season has been a joke.

I like that they throw the flag after the pick in the endzone.

It sucked tonight but overall they've had worse years.
There is no doubt in my mind that they want Manning to win another SB.

On the refs.... honestly, if I never have to listen to one more ref explain a call (on the field or in the TV booth) it will be too soon. Take the microphones away from these guys.

Oh, and on the breaking news front: Did you guys hear that Peyton Manning broke some kind of record?

Manning was obviously motioning to the crowd to stfu. What a bs answer

Just say you let your emotions get the best of you and let it be done, instead he has to make up some convoluted excuse. Such a big goon...

Yet another game where the Broncos luck out and face an injury depleted quality opponent. I am beginning to think they will win the Super Bowl because luck is certainly on their side this year. Every time they face someone good, they either go into the game without key players or lose them early in the game.

So far the only significant players the Broncos have lost are Danny Travathan (big loss) and Monte Ball (mediocre with a back up who is better than him).

Every Super Bowl winning team needs luck. Don't act like the Broncos are an outlier.

You guys cannot be serious. The Chargers got thoroughly outplayed in that game, on all front.

I'm as anti-Manning/Denver as the next Pats fan but I think that call was a good one on the fumble - there was a very good view of the ball and it didn't leave the returners possession until just after his palm was flat on the ground.

I understand about butterflies flapping their wings in China etc, but I still don't think that turnover was going to be enough to stop SD from losing so I'm not very outraged.

Did I go to sleep on October 23rd and wake up in February? Did the Broncos already win the Super Bowl?

The problem with your statement is that the palm being down doesn't mean the player is down.

I hope that BB & Co. are going to send a nice video package to the NFL containing a couple of Denver pick plays and also the trademark holding that Talib performs regularly.
