Why fool around? He's been injured a lot, but when called on has seemed to get a job done. Not much more we can do to strengthen a weak spot now. Connolly and Wendell 's veteran presence soothed a sore spot but let's face it, they were both rather weak and an infusion of a big body in that rotation could be very constructive.

He seems to pick things up and it's our Achilles heel this year, so i say challenge him, coach him up and get him some snaps next week.

I would love to try him next week especially if Denver loses. But man I just don't know if you trust him in the post season over Wendell or Connolly.

A bit late to be fooling around with that but Bill knows best. Ill defer to the goat.

I like Fleming best as a tackle eligible, he gets the seal blocks on the edge and creates push.

We need Connelly to get healthy and solder to man up!

Why not get him snaps? Since when did Wendell and Connolly become fantastic? I remember when they used to suck (manic depressive opinion swing).

Nobodies saying play him the whole game. We've always rotated linemen in case of injuries. we just have more green players than usual this year.

I'm with the OP, would be great to have a big strong body like Flemming inside. He could be the future at RG.

Has Fleming played any snaps at Guard?? I know he was effective as a tackle eligible guy, but switching positions at week 17 might be difficult.

He started at RG @ Kansas didn't he?

I worry about the OL. But I am trying to keep this game in perspective : even in the 14-2 seasons, weird things would happen within the division. Memba Miami late in 03 or 04 ?

I think we gotta go with the 5 that got us here. It's clear that offensive line needs to be addressed, and addressed aggressively, in the offseason, and maybe looking internally at guys like Fleming is an answer. But for now, I have more confidence in the Connolly - Stork - Wendell interior than any other lineup. Communication is key. Connolly & Wendell might be physically overpowered, but at least they don't have mental lapses that the less experienced guys do, like we saw yesterday.

He started in the Chiefs game at RG and played yesterday at RG. I actually think his future is at OG and I feel he could be a very good one.

I am with you on this. I like what Fleming has done and think he could be the starting RG in 2015.

He did yesterday.

You're sure we won't have injuries?

Fleming strikes me as a good, young, high-ceiling, intelligent player. Seems like he did a decent job yesterday coming in after the 1st /2 fiasco. Based on yesterday seems like he'd be a good candidate for a starting G spot on 2015. During a SB run this year...? Makes me a little nervous.

Interesting that Cannon was playing LT at times whilst Solder was still on the field playing TE. Is it simply that they don't like Cannon as a blocking TE or was Cannon getting a LT workout to see whether he can replace Solder for next year and beyond.
