If you were a Ravens fan....

I didn't think Flacco was elite before last nights game.

I do not think P. Manning has choked his entire career. He has Super Bowls and playoff wins. He also has a ton of one n dones and INTs.

Terry Bradshaw is a great postseason QB but I do not consider him elite either.

I don't really know (or care) if Flacco's elite, but I do know that he scares the hell out of me in the playoffs, and that has to count for something.

Andrew Luck has me a little nervous with the he way he is playing. Poised and mistake free

Lol, no sooner were those words said than Luck throws an interception. Neither one of these teams are looking that dangerous right now.

What will be the opening spread? I say Pats by 7 on either team.

If I were a Ravens fan I would feel somewhat lucky that this team was able to sneak into the playoffs and beat their rival Steelers who were without their best player. They were basically playing with house money against the Pats whom everyone predicted would win. Had the Ravens played better in the year they may have gotten a better seed and not had to face the Pats. They have a weak secondary that was exposed in the game yesterday. They're hurting today but they do have the pieces to be successful in the future given their QB, RB and D-line. If they can shore up the secondary they will be a formidable team for years to come.

If I were a Ravens fan I would be upset that they didn't run more with Forsett. The Patriots defense couldn't handle him. On defense, I would blame Pees for having their CBs with way too much cushion, they were letting Brady throw short outside routes all night.

As has been touched on in some of the previous posts, I'd be disappointed that my team lost, but more convinced than ever that they had a QB that could be a cornerstone for the next decade. Dude was impressive. A couple mistakes, sure. But Brady's had those games too. He's a guy you can trust. I'd just wish that he played that way all regular season too.

And a little bit annoyed that my favorite team's coach was a whiny *****. Winners don't make excuses, even in defeat.

If I'm a Ravens fan, i am an improved secondary away from being a SB contendor. I have the most important things a strong O-Line and D-Line

If I were a Ravens fan I would be proud because my team fought through a metric ton of injuries and took the #1 seed in the AFC to the absolute wall, and they are going to come back balling next year with some healing and a draft.

I'd also cringe about Harbaugh's weak presser.

Nope. Indy vs NE..bring it.

The worst part about being a Ravens fan is that you won't be able to watch replays of this game and appreciate it for the INSTANT CLASSIC that it is. I thought about that as the game was going on, especially after the Edelman to Amendola play. I thought "wow, they've erased two 14 pt deficits in such thrilling fashion and yet this will all mean NOTHING if they don't win the game. "

Props to the Patriot's staff for a solid game plan.

Also, props to the Pats tackles for holding up against Suggs and Dumervil.

Unless you mean the plan was to make them overconfident in the first half, I might hold off on that congratulation.

As far as the Ratbirds, they played a fine game and I would be pissed at the coach, if i were them. A little gimmick play for short yardage and he loses his cool, gets a penalty and let's them run the sucker play three times.

They were the ones with the great game plan, undone because their coach panicked.

They still have the best QB in the NFL as per their coach

Obviously you were going for humor here, but let's be more credible as fans......after all, Flacco does have a Super Bowl ring so this is not even factual.

You give them (fans) too much credit. According to fans (pretty much of any team) the other team always gets the calls, especially the Patriots.

They'll see the tug on the shirt of Steve Smith, by Revis, and say that was so obvious call to make (ignoring the Gronk hold and labeling it as a savvy move b a DB).

Probably complain that the Pats were holding the entire time (OL) because Suggs and Dumervill didn't dominate. Ignoring pushes in the back and outright holding (including that nice choke hold on Chandler Jones).

...

I hope they were holding the whole game. If they weren't, in a game where the refs allowed anything in that area, they were saps.

Flacco is the least of the Raven's problems.

He's got nothing to be ashamed of, as far as I'm concerned.
He is the reason they struggled to even get into the playoffs. Lets not forget how mediocre he was throughout the regular season. :) . If a QB is great/Elite shouldn't he play the same way through out the season rather than only the post season or regualr season for that matter?.

you really hold Flacco to the same level as Brady, Rodgers Manning?

Brady and Rodgers no.

Manning, Brees, Roethlisberger and Luck yes. I actually think Luck is on the verge of joining Brady and Rodgers as the elite of the elite.

What irritates me both is how the announcers hop on the Flacco Bandwagon and all of his playoff statistics, implying for some reason when he gets to the "tournament" he is invincible... they forget about the old adage of "any given Sunday", and the Pats are more than very good at home.

The directors and folks in the broadcast booth support them with all of their glossy statistics..

The question I would be asking today is Terrell who?? Elvis who?? They both wore their invisibility cloaks..
