I don't want scar to be a coaching consultant for the team. If they want him to scout then fine. Gug has proven he is better.

Just like Hightower has proven he's better than Willie Mac.I don't want scar to be a coaching consultant for the team. If they want him to scout then fine. Gug has proven he is better.
I thought Scar left on not the greatest of terms with the team? Or maybe that was Pepper Johnson. Probably Pepper.
Pepper said:“I could never have asked for a better coach/boss/friend in those 26 years,” he said of Belichick. “Thanks for always supporting me and I know Bill will continue to support me no matter what.
“Thank you New England Patriot fans; I will miss you the most.”
Belichick said:I am proud and honored to have spent more years of my career with Pepper Johnson than any other player or coach. Of all the people I coached or worked with, nobody has more passion and love for the game than Pepper. His energy and wisdom for football knows no limits. Pepper made me a better coach and person and helped create some of the greatest moments of my career. He is a great player, coach and lifelong friend and I am sure he will enjoy continued success as he moves forward.[/quote
Pepper touches on why he left the Patriots on a Bills radio show.

Awesome if he has agreed to take on a "consultant" type role for BB.. I'm sure with his type of pedigree and knowledge of the game its a terrible thing to "step away" completely... this would allow him to stay engaged and involved.. I love it.
