Exactly what the poll says. There is a lot of uncertainty floating around. How confident are you that the Patriots will keep Revis??

Not enough information in order to determine a confidence interval.

Ok. Well that's usually going to be the case since we aren't privy to agent negotiations. So your answer is probably going to be more based on gut feeling, rather than actual knowledge.

if revis becomes a free agent, he is gone.
the jests will make an outrageous bid and we all know revis loves the $$$$

this idea that if the offers are close, he'll choose the pats. what a joke.
if that's true then i want him to go. belichick will find someone serviceable...

I do believe Patriots want him and he wants to play in NE....why not?

The answer is $$$ -- will the offers he recieves, in terms of length, amount and guarantee, all in, be something we can come close enough to matching?

It sucks, but, there Are some crazy thinking owners that may overpay to the point of no return.

They will get this done and McCourty will have to decide whether to max out or stay where he really wants to be. It's going to be a tough decision because he's probably, going to have to leave 1.5-2 million a season on the table. I doubt the Patriots will go over 8 and he will field offers around 10.

No way he signs with pats
The instant the Patriots decline the option, Revis will have a proposal the Patriots will
not match. The Patriots will not even make a bid for either he or McCourty.

I picked 61-80%. Only reason I have it that high is that I think DMC walks and are willing to pay Revis an amount he is comfortable with this year.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I believe that had the Pats not won the Superbowl, Revis would have been easier to retain because he was at a position to 'sniff' the trophy, which would have made him more flexible in terms of his asking price relative to the wish at another shot to win it all.

But now, having won the ring, I believe that 'orgasm' has been achieved, and he is ready to move on, and close out a multi-year deal with the highest bidder. One that would likely take care of him all the way to the end of his career.

Really starting to think pats won't have McCourty or revis on the team next year.. Jesus this is bad

I was going to say something positive but realized that's a bad idea when people are in mourning.

RIP Patriots. It was fun while it lasted.

Not very confident he will be resigned

This is why the Patriots should not refuse the option if an agreement is not in place. They would
get one more year. Revis would be mad as hell but I don't think he would refuse the money.

I wish I could be in a position to be "mad" about accepting 20m dollars for 1 year of work. LOL.

I have a feeling if the Pats would offer AAV 14m + nice guarantees they could keep Revis in town. As long as the deal is slightly richer than Sherman's deal. If we lowball, Revis will walk because there will be teams that are willing to go 16m+ just to say they made a splash. Forget about the Jets for a minute, are we sure Dan Snyder won't make some outrageous offer?

Should have been a 50/50 option.

I don't think Revis would be upset at all with the Patriots picking up the option. He gets 20 million, another shot at a ring, and he's a free agent again next year.

I pickex 0-20% but I am not worried if he signs elsewhere so be it...we can load up in wr in FA and OL in the draft.
