Dolphins and Suh a done deal

Why? Guy had zero impact in the passing game in the game against Detroit.

Actually, Suh has played in 2 regular season games against the New England Patriots.

2010 - NE 45- Det 24
2014 - NE 34 - Det 9

The sun will rise, the sun will set and the Patriots will win the AFC East.

So miami getting suh is a bad move now?

They would be better of they did nothing..

interesting

Depends what they do with the other 52 players on their roster.

Suh by himself is not the answer against the Patriots.

Look at the previous post and ask the 2010 and 2014 Detroit Lions.

@mortreport:Ndamukong Suh will sign with Dolphins on Tuesday based off parameters around $114 million and $60 million gtd, per sources.

@mortreport: Suh also will get $60 million in first 3 years of 6-year contract, based on parameters set between #Dolphins and Suh's agent, Jimmy Sexton.

11 out of 12 GMs are laughing.
Thus concludes the 2015 Miami Dolphin Free Agent off-season. Thanks for tuning in, see you at the end of April.

What were his parents thinking, naming a boy Suh?

Suh is the most dominate dt in football.

Is he the answer? Only time will tell.

this remind me of the Wallace signing...remind me howd that turn out again?

I don't think any one defensive player is the answer. JJ Watt is the most dominant defensive player in football, but the Texans defense would suck if he didn't have good to great players around him.

Revis is the same thing. Yes, he is great, but he had a very good supporting cast around him here and when he was in NY.

The only position where one player is the answer is QB.

Mike Wallace compared to suh? Lol

So based on what everyone is saying in here, the pats shouldn't resign revis at 16-17 per year .. Too much money

Did he played against the Patriots ? Our OL dominated him.
Is He better than JJ Watt ?

Yes, to much money. The best overall defensive player is Watt. He is 25 years and his Avg./Year is $16,666,667. So this is the limit.

Say what u want but that d line will be nasty. We have the 4th best d line in the division. Off course the QB and coaching is what we have a big advantage over. Idk why we cant put together a decent dline. It has been years.

You are going to complain about the Pats not being able to build a d-line like their division rivals in the offseason after the Pats won the Super Bowl while the other teams in the division haven't even gotten to the playoffs since 2010 season (Jets), 2008 season (Dolphins), and 1999 (Bills)?

Let the other teams in the division build dominate d-lines. The Pats are more concerned with building Super Bowl contending teams.

Who won the SB? Who has dominated the AFC East for the past 15 years?

Pretty clear that the rest of the Division from Buffalo to Miami is sick and tired of watching the Pats win it with such regularity, sometimes with weeks to spare. I think a sixth trip to the SB and a fourth trophy in 15 seasons was probably the last straw. In some ways, you could interpret the Suh signing and the trades in Buffalo and New York as "we can't just do nothing, we gotta do something." Fans and owners, old and new, are getting tired of the status quo so management is taking risks and shots in the dark. A couple of them might turn out to be smart moves.

What does this mean for the Pats, in addition to the obvious hope that we can keep both Revis and McCourty, that Gronk stays healthy, that Julian and Amendola and LaFell play the way they did this year, that Mayo is his old self when he returns, that Brady continues to be Brady and that somebody can rush the goddam passer?

"In BB I trust," but I think the following become even more important in light of the moves by the other teams in the Division:
1) An O-line that can always buy Brady the couple of seconds he needs to drop the ball off.
2) An ongoing "Vereen like" threat out of the backfield
3) A Blount who can ground and pound and keep the pass rush honest

Not too worried in the passing game if Brady releases the ball like he did against Seattle more worried about the running game being effective against the dolphins. It's still the Pats division to lose

Indeed...

Three teams without a notable QB are designing their teams to beat a team with an elite, but aging and relatively immobile, QB. They're all going big on pass rush and collapsing the pocket. It may not work but since, at the QB position, they're stuck trying to take on a nuke (Brady) with a small caliber pistol (Tannehill) and a pair of 1 inch twigs (Manuel, Smith), they have to try winning in other ways.

Didnt i say that the pats have clearly the advantage in the qb position? I am just stating the fact that our dline could be better then it is. Its average at best if u asked me. I am sure we are gonna be division favorites once again but these defensive lines are very strong.
