Revis Signs with NYJ

It's good to see the money brady moves around and browner being cut went to good use.

The patriots were winners without him and they were winners with him, and they will continue to be winners without him. As memory serves me, Malcomb Butler made the play that gave us #4, not Revis.

Back to having an awful secondary and letting teams get 3rd and longs left and right.

woooo!

Man, I certainly trust Bill, but he pushes the limits of that.

This sucks.....hopefully we don't go back to being what we were a couple of years ago.

Every post you've made today makes me think you are mad about everything that happened the past year.
How does it make me mad? I just think he's a loser, I'm thankful for the ring.

what happens if he signs for $40M fully guaranteed and then holds out next year?

Teams can arbitrate for failure to fulfill contract obligations.

Seriously...in Bill we trust...and all that wonderful crap...but...our corners...at this moment are awful.....Arrington and Ryan were mediocre even with Revis and Browner playing.

I hope everyone is looking forward to more zone coverage next year. Should be fun..

Um, it might be right, but I can find no reports of it. Link please.

Can Kraft refuse to give him his ring?

Thanks for the year Darrelle and helping us win the title, sorry to see you go, but now it's next man up. Hope we bring in a corner or two and someone that can get to the quarter back.

Welp...

Look at all that cap space we have now!

That wasn't the issue. It was guaranteed money.

Revis is playing the percentages and no longer wants to gamble on the year-to-year provie it contracts he has been signing to this point. CBs start to wear down right about now. He basically wanted his current salary locked in for three years and by all accounts got it.
I need to see the contract before I give him to much **** about leaving and calling him Mevis. If it was close I am going to be a little pissed at Bill. Of the jets blew out offer away like they said they would I am going to be pissed at Revis. I really thought something would get done when he talked about how much he loved it here and that he did not have to be the highest paid CB just in the ballpark. 13.5 a year for 3 years should have got it done. I need the details so I know whether to be pissed or not.

We got another Super Bowl. Thanks for your help, Darrelle Revis. Good times!

What gives me pause, is how Revis was crying like a baby on the field after the SB win. What did that really mean?

He will always swim in a sea of cash, but be a simple mercenary in the end.
