I fear for our secondary against Athletic 6'4- 6'5 Wide Receivers.

The way our secondary is comprised right now, I would fear pretty much any receiver on the opposing team that has a good quarterback. lol
I expect us to add 1 or 2 more players before the season starts either in free agency, trade or draft however. I think Bill understands that we can't go into the season without adding another corner back or preferable two.

I'm not in the habit of speculating trades since they rarely (if ever) work out, but one can make a reasonable argument that Belichick will strongly consider making a trade for a CB.

Not only that, but we'll likely consider drafting another CB as well.

Draft a college basketball small forward at cornerback

After the Ommissioner takes away the NYJ's first round pick and gives it to the Patriots, maybe the Patriots and Jets could work out a trade: Something like Revis for a first rounder. ;)

With the jets having the 6th pick, I see a zero percent chance of that happening. Best case scenario, we get their 2nd. More of a reality is we swap 2nd round picks. But honestly, the Jet happy NFL front office will most likely give us nothing, or a some **** late round pick. Luckly even if they do happen to give us a crap pick, It will have to be in rounds 3 or 4 because they don't have a 5th & 6th round pick.

But honestly, Id be happy with that 3rd. Its early, and would give us 3 picks in the 3rd.

Stefen Wisniewski?

He is young (25) and can play Center or Guard, and is pretty good. He can cover for Stork/Wendell if hurt, and vice versa..

"..On January 2012, Wisniewski was named to the Pro Football Weekly All-Rookie team for his outstanding rookie season as starting left guard. Wisniewski helped pave the way for the NFL's 7th ranked rushing attack and anchored an offensive line that only allowed 25 sacks, tied for 3rd best in the NFL."

Missed 3 games in 4yrs... Pretty durable.

sign Will Caul-Stein from Kentucky ...

Seriously...?
This has all the makings of a "Who's on first" routine.

"I'm here to pick up tickets for Will Caul ..."
"Will Call window is around the corner."
"No, Will Caul ... "
"I told you. Will Call window is that way."
"No, Will Caul-STEIN."
"Hey, buddy. We don't discriminate. Jewish tickets, Catholic tickets, Protestant tickets. They're ALL held at the same window. Will Call. That way. Around the corner."
"Oy, vey.!"

I hope we give Peanut Tillman a look. Seems like the perfect yearly Belichick vet signing.

Tillman + a high drafted CB (say Byron Jones) + a traded for CB (say Keenan Lewis), would be a pretty good rebuilt secondary.

Probably no punishment but if there is one what makes you think the investigation will be over by this draft? They still deciding on video of Woody from dec and no resolution to deflated football bs.

@RapSheet: #Browns brought Dwayne Bowe in to visit with the intention of not letting him leave. Big commitment to sign a top WR #Boweheldhostage

@AdamSchefter: Former Bengals DE Michael Johnson is returning to Cincinnati, having reached agreement with team, per source.

@AdamSchefter: Packers free-agent CB Tramon Williams is visiting the Cleveland Browns today, per source.

Malcom butler will turn into the Richard Sherman of New England ;-)

Interesting situation. I know Skrines moved on, but Cleveland must be worried that Gilbert won't be ready to handle the CB2 role.

I think most of us agree that Wisniewski would be a fine addition to the team. The main concern is the expected higher cost of signing him. While it may not be extreme, it's likely going to be more than we could dedicate to the OL at the moment. Just my opinion. I'd love him, though.

Of course, I don't which one would play C and which one would play one of the guard spots between him and Stork.

@JasonLaCanfora: Took the temp of a lot of teams on Greg Hardy over the weekend, came away with the sense DAL and SEA could emerge as legit suitors

If the Seahawks add an All-Pro across from Bennett, could be greatest D in 30 years.
