Bradley Fletcher signing with Pats

Chung was able to stop the run last year. That's it. That's the same thing Chung has always been able to do, when healthy. There was no magical rebirth of Pat Chung. He still sucked in coverage.

Unless you think that Bradley Fletcher is going to be Revis redux, and allow McCourty to ignore half the field the way he often could last season, Chung is not going to be able to just serve as an extra, non-cover, LB this year, and he's either going to get replaced for playing time or targeted a boatload in coverage.

I respect your opinion, but I'm not interested in having this conversation again. I'm agreeing to disagree and moving on.

What was there to disagree with?

Was it a naked black woman for Adult Friend Finder? It happened to me as well except I'm on a computer (Mac). I use AdBlock as well and it still showed up.

I think it happened a few times before when trying to visit other websites.

This is the exact ad that I got.

At best this guy is a poor mans Browner. At worst he is cut and forgotten. I don't understand the people that are actually arguing that New England has replaced Revis with Fletcher. That is ridiculous and you all know it.

Well, it's hard to understand people that don't exist.

He was definately better, but certainly not perfect. He very well might revert to his poor coverage without Revis and Browner. Not sure Chung is even worth having. Might be better of with another free safety with these potentially bad corners starting.

camp fodder

We were a Welker drop from winning the SB that year. Forgive me if "2011 all over again" doesn't sound that bad. And this kind of signing is to avoid Edelman playing CB like in 2011.

Unfortunately the trip through our division this year won't be any easier.

Spoken like a true fan of another team.
Forgive me for not being excited over the pats signing one of the worst corners in the NFL last year.

Here, I'll give the pats Homer reaction:

"Incredible signing! Did belichick do it again or did belichick do it again!"

And for the record, some of the people "talking up" Fletcher in this thread are posters who's football knowledge I respect more than 99% of the board (including my own opinion). Doesn't mean he's going to be awesome, just means there are intelligent posters on here willing to see a potential upside.
When Unoriginal posts something that I disagree with, I take a hard look at my perspective.

I'm not so sure that's a bad thing. The brutal 6 game gauntlet that the Pats went through last year forged them into something stronger than they were.

The Pats homer reaction that not a single poster has made. Keep fighting the good fight, bud.

You're kidding me, right? You really don't think this board has people that look at it like that?

Sorry, I think I may have misinterpreted your post in the opposite way it was intended. I thought you were claiming there are people who think Fletcher is so GOOD that he's going to replace Revis. My bad :)

If that reaction exists, perhaps you can quote it instead of impersonating it.
