Well at least he didn't throw away any 1st-rounders, but to not acquire a Defenceman - any Defenceman -
to take away the ice time of the weak-ass, clueless Fartkowski, and to not rid the payroll of the deadweight that is Kelly, Paille & Campbell results in a grade of Fail.

They have really turned it around lately beating good teams..up to #7 now

I still wouldn't mind seeing them one bit..because there is still a chance for a upset then MTL would riot

Krejci needs to re-evaluate his slow deliberate style in light of the Bruins recent success.
Lucic has been playing better on what is now an uptempo line ...........
In any case hope Spooner and Pasternak stay in the lineup and give one-eye the bench for a while.

That game showed me right there they won't win more the 2 games in the 1st round

Usually I would rip them a new one for such a loss, but I gotta admit that their goalie just played
the game of his life. The Bs dominated time of possession, especially in the ofensive zone.
The game-winner was a deflection off the leg of - of course - Fartkowski. Svedberg had no time to react.

Speaking of Fartkowski, he was his typically awful self in the Ottowa loss. He needs to sit ASAP, and
Morrow needs to be recalled from Providence so that at the very least the ChiaPet can claim that he
received something of value for the fireable Seguin trade.

I am SO glad they gave Smith that extension...... puke

Except for the first 3 months of the 2013-14 season, Reilly Smith has done absolutely jack squat
with Bergeron & Marchand as his line mates. Disgraceful.

Bergy who is IMO so dam underrated it's not even funny. Guy just does everything. O...D...everything

This team will still get bounced in round 1 no matter how well they are playing right now

I'm not so sure now…but only if they can avoid the Montreal Scabs.

A couple of encouraging signs:
Brett Connolly was activated ahead of the JAG-ness of Talbot, and he produced 2 assists;
Julien continues to play the kids while sending Paille & the aforementioned Talbot to the press box;
Rask is making the saves he needs to make.

The one head-scratcher is that Joe Morrow was again re-assigned to Providence while the grotesque putrescence of Fartkowski continues to wear the spoked B.

We also need to clean house, both on-ice and off-ice.
The ChiaPet must go. Too many bad drafts, bad trades and bad signings.
His buddies Bruce Cassidy, John Ferguson Jr and Joe Sacco also must go.
If the Clod Julien doesn't admit that his "system" of puck-dumping followed by line-changing is broken,
then he must go too.
And everybody except Bergeron and possibly Marchand, Spooner, Pasternak, Hamilton, Krug, McQuaid
and Rask should have a For Sale sign attached above their lockers.
