ROFL Hahahahaha Oh man this makes my day. They're not even a real NFL franchise anymore. I'm not even sure they qualify as a pro sports team. So glad I'm not a fan of that team. What an embarrassment. I think this will probably be the last relevant thing they do with Johnson as the owner. How can you take them seriously anymore? They're an absolute farce.

Actually you are.

Person A: I really want to sign player X (status of player X: he is under contract with another team. Player X will only become available to sign if player X wants to leave this team and/or he believes there are persons out there who will offer greater money than the team he is currently signed to).

Person B: I wanted to sign this player X (status of player X; he was legally available to be signed. He is not unavailable to be signed for a minimum of 3 years).

Logical conclusion: Person A acted improperly according to league rules, Person B did not. Person A has opened himself up possible for punishment due to league rules and at the discretion of the league

Unresolved questions: (1) Will there be punishment? if so (2) what the punishment will be?
Wait!!! There is breaking news on the answer to these questions! The issue has been resolved! Person B was over heard telling a joke in public (the one about a priest, the rabbi and the imam). Person B has been banned from all NFL events. Also league efforts are under way to force Person B to forfeit all NFL holdings. Another issue in front the NFL executive committee has been completely resolved!

The jets are without question the sorriest excuse for a franchise in all of professional sports. I am really looking forward to the 50th anniversary of their only appearance in the Super Bowl. I'm guessing the NFLN network will rerun the entire game and JETFANS will watch it thinking it's the actual Super Bowl and riot in the streets when they win.
