Indeed it is . . . life's pretty good right about nowI believe the Colts gave up their first rounder for 2008 as well. If it is so
I like the fact that we own SF's 1st round pick this year, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that a player being injured is a good fortune for anyone. I want SF to continue to lose as much as you, but never at the expense of an injury. The players continue to drop for the Niners. They are down right awful.
Good fortune for the Pats.

I'm pretty sure that none of us meant it liked that.An injury is something that I'd never wish on any player in the dangerous NFL.On the other hand I'm so happy that the 49ers are losing.I hope they lose every 1 of their remaining games.I like the fact that we own SF's 1st round pick this year, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that a player being injured is a good fortune for anyone. Dallas is looking at having a pick in the 28-31 range. Cleveland is looking at around 20. Those two picks don't get into the top five for me. The generic draft value chart puts 20 and 30 at pick #7. If Dallas wants that pick, if McFadden is there (we need The Jest to start winning) they can add Marion Barber or no deal.I know it is VERY early to begin even thinking this way but on one show Sunday there was speculation that Dallas really wants McFadden (who doesn't?). They could be looking to trade up into the top five with their two number one's to get into position to grab him depending on who is picking where.
