What Happened to Lawimpian Tomlinson's HEART!!

Takes one to know one?

It's not LT's decision not to play, it was the coaches. That's why coaches coach and players play.

Hmm.. So, let me get this straight. Your COACH is fully willing to put the decision on whether Philip Rivers plays in the hands of Philip Rivers, but he's not willing to put the decision into the hands of LdT? Something doesn't make sense there.

P.S. Its an insult to the REAL LT to call Tomlinson LT. Please stop doing so.

His bruised vagina from last week simply tightened up on him again....

Hahahahahha. Lol. That's great.

If no one makes an issue of this on Around the Horn or PTI tomorrow...I will be pissed. At least the Sports Guy should call our LdT!

Tomlinson even disappointed me. Is he really that hurt? This was the biggest game of his career, and he sat on that bench wrapped up in a parka wearing his hide me mask. With the season on the line, and a championship within their graps, he chooses to sit it out.

Or, am I being too hard on the guy?

It was the coaches decision to sit him. Its tough to play running back with a hyper extended knee, especially in the cold. There is a reason people think Pats fans are trash, and I see what it is. We cant take this for granted, and most of you "fans" are.

You can't compare the QB position to a RB position when it comes to knee injuries. It's much harder on the knees to be a RB. You are pushing off and making cuts and taking hits on every play.

Do you remember Lawrence Taylor? A true class act huh? A real rolemodel for all those kids. Sure, he was a great player but he was interviewed a few years back on ESPN and they asked Taylor if he found it offensive that LT was using the name LT. He said that HIS LT was dead. That he was in a bad place and he doesn't want to be called LT anymore. From now on Lawrence Taylor. If that came from Taylors mouth then I feel safe to call Tomlinson LT ;)

Like hell you can't. They are BOTH the keys to the Charger franchise. In fact, I am fairly certain that, with as good as Turner is as a back-up, the Chargers wouldn't win double digit games each year with him as the starter. And, considering that Rivers injury was actually WORSE than LT's, your risking the franchise on Rivers getting re-injured. Look at all the teams that DON'T win every year because their QBs stink...

It's not up to the player. It up to the coaching staff and the medical staff. LT was OBVIOUSLY not cleared to play. Honestly, what kind of ***** doesn't play in a game of such importance if he could have? LT would have played if he could have.

Sanvara can you defend Tomlinson for sitting on the bench with his helmet on all game talking to hardly anyone? There is no excuse for this supposed leader to not be trying to fire up his team if he isn't going to be playing. Did he even take that helmet off once he got off the field? I can understand him not going back in if he was hurt but he looked like a sulking child, not the leader of the team.

Considering that I've been watching the Pats since 1982 (were you even a wet dream in your mom's pants?) I would say I remember LT worlds better than you ever will.

As for rolemodels, if you are STUPID enough to let Tomlinson be a role model for your kids, you should have them taken away from you. Tomlinson is a poor role model. His sportsmanship is pathetic. I wouldn't want ANY of my kids looking to someone like LdT as a role model because they'd be whining more than playing.

it's not HS. Starters go to the bench when they're not on the field. Not everyone is standing up and ra-ra about the team. I know he was upset though. The biggest game in his career and he couldn't play.

Yeah, regardless of what his injury was or wasn't, Tomlinson should have been at the front of the sidelines shouting encouragement and support to his team mates...he could have used crutches. He puncked out in other games this year refusing to sit beside Rivers and showing attitude a number of times....like last week.

LT lost a whole lot of his self-proclaimed class this year. Rivers played like a top shelf quarterback most of the year.

Ummm..... he was cleared to play. He did play. And, after making a token appearance, he sat on the bench to film his next commercial. At least this time he didn't have to look in his closet to find a helmet and watch the game, huh?

He also uses Vizios. I mean, they're fine budget tvs, but if you're got a Vizio with an NFL player's salary, clearly there's something wrong with you.

I have seen many injured stars help out any way they can, by helping the coaches or just cheering on their teammates.

That was a weird thing he was doing.

Name for ya:

This post speaks volumes........A real leader leads, whether he's playing or not. And yeah you're right, this isn't HS. Maybe someone should clue your star RB in on that fact.

I used to think Rivers was the Bolts problem. I now know otherwise.

Ridiculous. I have seen many starters off the bench firing up their team, especially when they are trailing. I've seen many even on the bench telling the guys they are doing great and giving oral support. LT sat there with his helmet on the entire time doing nothing. Who cares if he was upset? If his entire team was upset from losing he did nothing to try and curb that. So what if he can't play. Don't sulk and be pissed when your team is trying ther damndest to get you to where you want to be. He didn't do his job as a leader.

Alex Rodriguez has more "heart" than LDT and

his man-slap of Bronson Arroyo shows he's

tougher ,too.(Ouch!):bricks:
