I've grown to respect Rivers as well. He's a good family guy and does a lot of great community work off the field. I think he got a bad rap during the LT and Lights Out clown show days.

While we don't believe Vince has no leverage in this situation he may in fact have a better offer through some tampering efforts done by his agent who may know of teams willing to offer him more if the team cuts him.

I remember this and it is comical how someone changes their tune as soon as they're cashing checks from a new employer. If he wasn't injured or playing injured as he states then he just plain sucked and deserved to be left off the playoff roster. He was an absolute liability on passing downs.
