I worry more about Cameron Wake coming off the right side, especially if Vollmer is out. That's a tough situation to put Solder in -- his first action at RT against Wake and a MNF game. It definitely will be interesting to see how the OL plays.

That's not true. Vollmer didn't start right away, Kaczur did. He didn't take over as the starter until midway through the year. I wouldn't say Solder is more talented than Vollmer either... and I would say unless Light gets injured he will be the starter at LT all year.

My mistake on Light, was sort of guessing. As of now the game Thursday is still on as scheduled, 2 days between games for the Giants does seem unfair (Jets in same boat). I could see them pushing the game back a few days, but whenever the game is played I'd hope to see Solder get some reps...

I would suspect the Pats have one more relatively major signing/trade to come because of the cap room that they currently have. They didn't make all those moves Friday, including releasing Warren for nothing.

The offensive line was one of the strengths of the team this season. The OL wasnt the issue last Sunday, Brady had plenty of time to throw. Most of the sacks on Brady were coverage sacks.

Yeah, I agree. Which is why I would much rather have a QB who is very comfortable in the pocket and has the accuracy that Brady has.

While I agree with everything that you said, your last point is a little off. Having a QB that can escape the pocket can make plays and force the defense to worry about the possibility of the QB running. When a QB escapes the pocket, WRs can adjust their routes towards the QB and get open.
