yes..one runs the ball to the side to get into field position..but that is done with inside runs forward NOT outside sweeps where yardage can be lost and thus OUT of FG range. They could have made short passes inside..SAFE short passes..THAT would have been a LOT better than the play they ran...

That was one dumb call in that game as well....BUT I think that had to be a blunder given teh situation..Jags no timeouts and moving the ball??? Gave them the opportunity to get the W...REALLY bad coaching there in both cases.
