Does anyone else find it ironic that he's mad despite the huge offensive line we've constructed?
Solder is a grizzly.
Mankins is a grizzly.
Connolly is a grizzly.
Cannon is a grizzly.
Vollmer is a grizzly.
Bill did what you wanted him to do. Wasn't that your MO? Or are you just...
Johnny Mac is decent...I'm putting all of my eggs in the Mike Nebrich bandwagon though. He has a chance to be a special QB for UCONN.

Re: Your 3 opinions on the draft - Future Great Pro-Future Bust-Most Intriguing? (200
Lulzy.
I have to say, I was right on with David Harris in this draft. I really wanted him as a Patriot. Other guys I liked were Darrelle Revis, Brandon Meriweather, Amobi Okoye and Anthony Gonzalez.
I...
Uggh...I like Buddy Farnham a lot. I just wish we had any space to offer him. I don't think we do.
Maybe he'll replace Aiken? He can return kicks, at least.
I can deal with this offense. We will definitely be pass heavy, but Brady has so many more options to get the ball too. I think that if we can survive the first six weeks ostensibly without Welker, this team will really hit its stride from 7 onward.
McCourty plays a lot like Revis. He has that upside.
Gronk is so smooth...I think of Todd Heap.
Cunningham has Demarcus Ware type speed in the short shuttle, I think he has elite upside.
Spikes is Bart Scott in terms of playing style, but Ray Lewis in terms of draft status; he slipped because...
I was a major Spikes hater before yesterday. Now, I think that he is an ideal complement to Mayo in our system, so I like the pick.
I voted Gronk though.
Re: After today... Still a 9-7 team...
How come this site is so negative?
Anyway, I think we are an 11-5 team at this point. We got another competent pass rusher and have tons of bodies for the vacant DE position. This was another great draft and our offense is improved. Imagine once Welker...
McCourty will be our starting KR from Day 1, and he'll be a nickel corner.
Gronk will start.
Cunningham will start or, at the least, be a rotational pass rusher.
Spikes will rotate with Guyton and McKenzie.
Price will rotate with Holt and Tate.
Either way, I like these picks a lot. I think...
Gholston is one bad pick. They've also drafted Revis, Harris, Ferguson, Mangold, etc. All great first round picks. They would have gone McCourty over Kyle Wilson, strengthening his status even more.
Cornerback may not have been a giant need, but combined with special teams I think this pick...
The Jets, Vikings and Saints ALL would have wanted to take him had we passed.
He wouldn't have made it out of the first round.
At least it's not a complete headscratcher like Logan Mankins was a few years back.
Zach Frazer + Cody Endres + Leon Kinnard + Michael Box = BEASTS!
Anyway, McCourty is a good pick IMO. He only gives up a reception on 25% of the passes thrown his way and around 2.5 yards per attempt. He also was brought up in run support a lot and is solid in that aspect. Not only that, but...
Saw this article about past trends for Patriots drafts.
I can't post a link, but if you google "Draft day cheat sheet Part 1: A look at the Patriots" you should be able to find it I suppose.
Thoughts? It seems well-researched, though I'm not sure we only look at white safeties lol.
I'm actually doing research on this topic (along with other Patriot protoypes) and your list is relatively spot on. One player you are missing is Koa Misi, who at 6 foot 3 251 may be at the threshold where the Pats jump on him. The Pats have only drafted an OLB who is less than 6 foot 4 twice in...
