[Meta]: Can we consider having a stickied 'outrage' thread?

OK thanks. I thought it was just me. I will check that thread.

[Meta]: Can we consider having a stickied 'outrage' thread?

Anyone, please. How do you collapse that twitter column which is crowding out this site--it's over on the right... was never there before. It takes up about a third of the page. Frustrating.

Mike and Mike:Of the 4 teams left, the offense that scares you the least is _____?

My only response to the thread is to say that compared to Julio Jones. almost all the other this-weekend stars seem manageable. I swear this guy is from some other universe--so yes scary.

    Home field Advantage ....

Against Pittsburgh, I think it's important to be even louder. They're a kind of rude, in your face, team--always physical and a bit nasty. So we gotta step up one notch to tell them they're not welcome--and that we the fans are going to make it as rough as we can on them. Let's make Big Ben...

Mike Francesca ANTI PATS bias has hit an all time high

New York sports fans and WFAN fans will really disagree with the header of this post. For the most part, Mike has been a big BB, Patriot, and Brady fan. He often uses this praise to knock down the JETS--and their players and coaching. I don't know what he's been saying lately but in the past...

Globe headline: Texans "nearly pulled off" upset

    "Texans Feisty; But No Dicey"

What a weird performance from Brady

You could minus one interception because of the timing with Floyd. But there were a couple other Brady passes that easily could have been picked and were not. But the truth is that he got hit way too many times--esp in a game that was supposed to be more or less a breeze. It's not so bad to...

Michael Floyd staying 3 minutes from stadium

I read that Floyd was staying at Residence Inn.

Where the Houston game will be Won/Lost IMHO

I think Whitney Mercilus is the one front seven guy that needs to be stopped. He's the most fierce competitor on that defense. The upside for us is that he's the ONLY ONE to compensate for--because I think, as tough as the rest of that line is, we can handle them.

Pittsburgh/Kansas City: Who will win? Who do you want to win?

Boy, thanks for reminding me of this. I think you might be right. Reid is like a great coach who isn't all that determined to win games... like being superb is better than actually winning. Maybe's he's too good-natured. And he never seems to feel the pressure the game presents him

Pittsburgh/Kansas City: Who will win? Who do you want to win?

I think K.C. will pull this one out. I don't want to play either one of them--forget any history we may have with either. I will say that I prefer K.C. in bad weather.

    Both those games were snooze-fests...

I'm glad I'm not alone. The ads drive me nuts. More often than not, the game itself seems secondary. Sometimes even with a serious injury, they break for 4-5 ads. Followed by a punt... 7-8 more ads. What do the players do during all this down time---maybe they work on their children's...

    Raiders @ Texans Playoff Thread

Perhaps the only good game this weekend will be the Giant-Packer game tomorrow night. At least it is the most newsworthy--if not the closest.

    Raiders @ Texans Playoff Thread

You nailed it. He's one cheer leader that gets top billing even in a playoff game.

Pats Regular Season MVP (not named Brady)

No matter how short or long your list, you can't leave out Bennett.

    NFL Week 17 Other Games

Yeah hope Wash can pull this one out--maybe with a field goal. Because otherwise this promising Play-in game tonite will hold little meaning to most fans--myself included.

NFL Wild Card Playoff Scenarios Entering Week 17

I am thinking Oakland first--and then K.C. for the conf. championship. That no ONE seed is looking so beautiful right now.

    Week 17 .. NE@MIA .. PREGAME thread

It would be not only fascinating, but terrific---if it secured the no 1 seed. no one can beat 2 losses

Victor Cruz: Pats want NO PARTS of NYG if we (both) were to make SB LI

And I think that was almost a blowout. I do think the Giants could take Dallas once more--when they're on, they can take anyone, and their wins were pretty convincing. But yes I know that they are capable of coming apart big time too.

Victor Cruz: Pats want NO PARTS of NYG if we (both) were to make SB LI

Except that the Giants didn't have #13 then. He's so explosive from every part and angle of the field...sometimes he even has to tackle himself. Will Jason P-P be back on the line for the playoffs?? He's another big gun no one wants to mess with.
