No Le'veon Bell. Edit: Or Martavius Bryant

    We're On To the Jets!

What the Eagles game highlights more than anything are 3 weaknesses about my Jets: 1. We lack WR depth. The drop off of Ryan Fitzpatrick throwing to Marshall and Decker vs throwing to everyone else is drastic. Without Decker, there was no one else in that game who was able to establish himself...

"Is there anyway we can realistically beat the Patriots next week?"

Dismal? Irrelevant? Why Sir I'll have you know that I have no comeback at this time, nor will I ever have any. Take that!

"Is there anyway we can realistically beat the Patriots next week?"

Yeaaaaaaa.....I'm not buying that. Jets hatred is DEEP here. How many pages is the current "the Jets suck" thread? 600+?

Geez! If you feel that way about the Colts, I can only imagine how it's going to be around here during Jets week next week.

The Official Jets at Patriots Post-Game Thread

I dunno whether you're serious or sarcastic. But I'll respond to certain things. The Dolphins blitzed a lot during the game down in Miami. And though Sanchez didn't play his best game statistically, he stood in the pocket and took tough hits. I have no excuse/response to offer for the...

The Official Jets at Patriots Post-Game Thread

Both teams played sloppily, The Jets (obviously) more so than the Patriots. Both QB missed WIDE open receivers in the middle of the field. McCourty's Fumble Hill's big drop. Sanchez trying to throw the ball while taking a sack Sanchez's AWFUL interception! A wounded duck of a pass if I...

    Instant grades: Patriots v. Titans

    What does 'GFY' stand for?

    Bills vs Jets

It's funny that you say that. Jets had a offensive line performing terribly last year, yet it was all Sanchez's fault when the team didn't do well. I invite you all to contemplate that we really couldn't tell if Sanchez grew as a QB last year based on the lack of talent around him. We'll see his...

    Bills vs Jets

Agreed. When the 2003 Patriots went 14-2, and won the Superbowl, they lost the first game 31-0 to the Bills. First game doesn't mean everything! That being said...the Jets needed this game in a BIIIIIIIG way. Real big way. Enjoy your weekends and I'll keep in touch.

The Official Patriots vs Titans game thread

Jets fan checking in. Just want to say how good Quinton Coples has looked. Ok ok, he's been so-so. Chandler Jones has looked like the better player today. Strip sack and Hightower had the fumble returned for a TD. You guys look good today.

ESPN Ranks Chandler Jones the 4th best rookie and best defensive rookie of 2012

I agree with Jason 423. I think it is a fair assessment. In my response to Coples being more of a disruptor than a pass rusher, I would say that with the Jets defense around him and behind him...Coples doesn't actually need to get to the QB that often. If he breaks thru the line you can bet that...

The 2012 season: the Jets [Mod Edit: STILL] suck

It's just the preseason. Didn't the Lions destroy the Patriots 34-10 in the 3rd preseason game last season? I think the Patriot season was pretty successful last year. Maybe you didn't get the ultimate prize, but you were one of the last two standing. Look, here is what I think. Defenses...

(Jets vs Panthers) Countdown to first Green Beans touchdown of 2012

Manning hadn't thrown for one in his first two preseason games. I was betting the Chicago D would keep him from at least throwing a TD pass. I guess I was wrong.

(Jets vs Panthers) Countdown to first Green Beans touchdown of 2012

I actually owe him $20 bucks. I made a $10 bet that the Jets first team offense would score a TD. I also made another $10 bet that Eli Manning would go the whole preseason without throwing a TD pass.

(Jets vs Panthers) Countdown to first Green Beans touchdown of 2012

Shame, shame, shame. This is embarrassing. The Jets first team offense is gonna end up with an 0-fer during the preseason. Wow.

(Jets vs Panthers) Countdown to first Green Beans touchdown of 2012

He does need to improve in recognition. I'm not sure, but I think when the Panthers ran around the edge, Coples wasn't the DE. I may be wrong, I admit that much, but I doubt it.

(Jets vs Panthers) Countdown to first Green Beans touchdown of 2012

The first pass to Santonio was a turd pass. The one to Stephen Hill was perfect.

You really blame that INT on Sanchez???
