They are similar in a lot of ways, not very mobile entering the draft, one of the best arms in the class. Not saying that Mallett will end up like brady, but they have a lot in common. and both taken behind 5 other qb's after a long slide too i guess

I wish people would stop knocking Mallett. Great arm, lacks mobility, which is exactly what was said about Brady (that and he was 'skinny as a rail')... and off field issues are a problem on the patriots all the sudden?

Who would fill those glaring needs? This draft class didn't seem to strong to me, so taking the best player at whichever spot wouldnt solve our woes. might as well wait for the right player instead of taking the quick answer

not that simple man. Why force a pick that isnt there? We have a 33rd and we're probably not gunna loose anything between now and then. Might as well get a first round next year instead of jumping on the best player still on the board.

Cam Newton is like Vince Young 2.0. Im not sure why every talking head on ESPN and NFLN is all over him. Maybe im just a little bias because I'm not a huge fan of the whole QB running for 100 yards a game... I like the look of Dalton but he could totally fall apart without the right leadership...

Re: If BB Decides For a RB . . . I'd rather get Sproles or Addai over Benson. I can't really defend taking sproles but for some reason i think he would be a good fit. It also seems like Benson has a bit of a fumbling problem.

Urlacher for sure, he needs to stop talking and play some times, but he still went to UNM, and we churn out very few NFL players. I gotta back up my college on this one
