Oops sorry... Yeah I also prefer Maye to McCarthy, but not so much that I would refuse an offer from another team inside the top-10 to move down a couple of spots in exchange for a Day 2 pick this and/or next year and run the risk of losing Maye, same as Steve102's post above.
Oh yeah I grew-up as a single-digit midget a couple of blocks off Columbia Road west of Uphams Corner until we moved a couple of miles down Adams Street in 1970 as soon as the school year ended at the Mather, which was/is located on Meeting House Hill just off Bowdoin Street near the eastern...
That's EXACTLY what I do on that sim nearly each & every time, same as on MockDraftDatabase if a better offer doesn't appear... DraftBuzz is more challenging, but on that sim I can throw-in our trash to sweeten the pot... Don't even think about trading-down from #3 at PFN however.
I didn't attend the place, but there was, in the daze of my yute, a junior high school in Dorchestah named after President Wilson... Looks like it closed in 2010.
Still don't think they go QB at #10... A-a-ron needs a Weppun, or better protection.
In the trade-down scenario, I like the picks except those at 103 & 137;
In the stand-pat scenario however, I'm not a fan of the picks at 34, 68, 137 or 234.
Trading down is THE ONLY answer this year. Too many holes to fill, not enough picks, and NONE of these QBs are even close to being...
Mary Ann first, last, and always!
RIP Roman Gabriel, betcha he loved playing in LA during the 1960s!
(p.s.: How ****ed-up was the NFL in those days with their division & playoff formatting? Even before the 4-division split in 1966-67, the Baltimore Colts were playing in the WESTERN division!)
He might be our last best chance to draft a Week 1 starter at #34... the others below him - Guyton, Paul, Amegadjie e.g. - look as if they might need a little more time to figure out the NFL LT business... Maybe this kid does too, he's still young after all...
