The more I see of this guy the more Im loving him. I have a feeling this guy is going to be a better player than Vereen....And I like Vereen...Looks like the kind of guy that can get 15-20 carries a game, Bring some balance back to our offense....Corey Dillon Days..
YouTube - Stevan Ridley
Ive had some time to sit around and stew about this draft. I was pretty pissed about the 2 RB picks back to back. I'm now pretty happy about it. To be honest, looking back at our years past and RBs that have had success in NE, I think Ridley is gonna be a better back for us than Vereen. I dont...
Brooks Reed dosnt fit the Pats system??? really?? An edge rusher in a 3-4 defense?? really???
"Houston is a pass rush specialist". thats what you wrote.. ill let that speak for itself.
Hankerson wouldnt beat out price or tate? first of all thats ur opinion. and you do remember that price...
As i head off to bed tonight, this is what we could have been looking at....
17. Solder
28. Ingram
33. Reed
60. Houston
74. Hankerson
92. Boling/Matthews/Ocho/Stanzi
(obviously these are the original picks)
Pretty sure just about everyone on this board would be loving this draft...
LOL. line of the night. i dont mind the Mallett pick, feel like we might be close to trading Hoyer in a year or 2. people like him.
WHAT THE F**K IS WITH THE RIDLEY PICK?? could have him in the 5th, Hankerson, Mason Foster. You go Ridley??
Imagine this draft and tell me which one you...
that we prob could have gotten in the 5th. looking at Hankerson, Mason Foster...how the hell do you pick Ridley? We could get a cheap Sammy Morris replacement with......SAMMY ******* MORRIS!!!!!
love it. I was pissed we passed on Ingram, but this is a nice 2nd choice. However i did think he was gonna be a 3rd rounder. Feel we reached a little. All these analysts are saying he cant be "the guy" but i think he can do it all. not the biggest guy, but him and woodhead with BGE backing him...
Ok. we passed on Ingram. Im over it i guess. Im fine as long as we end the 2nd round with either of these guys.
Ryan Williams
Mikel LeShoure
Kendall Hunter
Taiwan Jones (almost 99% certain BB would never pick him)
if we are only "a few pieces away" than why wait and collect picks that you never plan on using for future years? lets get those "pieces" now and win...now.
thats the 33rd pick for a 2nd rounder in 2012. we would be getting a lower 2nd round pick to make up for our lost 33rd. why trade a very high second round pick in 2011 for a second rounder in 2012?? just make the pick at 33 and be done with it.
you had me. im right there with you. but you lost me big time with the last sentence. lets be rational here. but the first paragraph....couldnt have said it better myself.
your right. but you cant draft 11 guys every year. at some point you need to aquire star players. game changers. which history has shown you have the best chance for that in the first round. our best second round pick over the last couple of years was wes welker....ironically we traded that one...
hahahahahahaha. im with you...i may not be on the ledge right now, but ive taken the whole bottle of pills, and now im trying to decide if im going to make myself throw up.:deadhorse:
than take someone else at 27 and get that guy at 33. OH my god! i cant believe i just thought of that! im a genius!
and if you think there gonna make the pick at 33, think again. they have a whole day to find a way to trade it away.
