I rooted for Ernie Adams. I followed Ernie Adams. Ernie Adamas was part of my team. Matt Slater is no Ernie Adams.
It's great to have ex-Pats on the coaching staff though.
2) The spike in the cap gave teams the ability to secure more of their best players and that left the Pats out in the cold.
3) I don't like the extra Mayo nays either. Fans need to give him a chance.
4) The character assassination of Bill came before he took the job too.
5) Rome wasn't built...
That's where I am. I haven't followed college football for decades and I'm never that interested in following the NYFL draft. That will change with this draft show.
The question was about business and every situation is different. Who was more important to Kraft's success? Blank or Belichick? Bob's loyalty has always been heading in the wrong direction.
If that person was one of the reasons that my business went from a half billion company to a 5 billion company then I might tone it down a bit and try to help him. He earned that with his 25 years. Plus, why would I care if the Falcons got an over-the-hill HC?
Maybe Bob doesn't have to. I saw an opinion that the BBC wants more manageable HC's and guys like Bill and Mike Vrabel are not wanted as much these days.
That was worth a lot more than 2 cents. Thanks.
Unfortunately, the Krafts don't seem to have that in mind. They're the ones doing the talking these days.
One possible explanation that I heard was that Kraft is worried that Bill could follow the same path that Brady did and win somewhere else right away, and that would hurt Bob's chances of being recognized as one of the keys to the dynasty.
I also saw that there was a possibility that Kraft...
So, Bob decided to derail Bill's chances at another HC job. That's a strange way to show appreciation to the man who coached your team to 9 SBs and 6 SB wins.
It really doesn't look good for the future of the team if the Krafts have decided to be more involved with the football decisions.
And...
Money can't buy happiness.
Does anyone think that Bill's happy about falling a bit short of the HC wins record? I'm pretty sure, with his fondness for the history of the game, that he doesn't like it, especially after the petty way Shula* treated Bill and the Pats in 2007.
I've always had trouble with that logic. If every single player on the team was a choice of Bill's, how exactly can they re-sign anyone who wasn't a Bill choice? They can't start without any players.
