    DJ Hayden!!

Thanks again. I don't count on either of those sites, but I figured they can't be really far off. As you guys described it, he was effective in certain role. His injury hinder his further development. Was it enough to derail his career? I'm just curious.

    DJ Hayden!!

Thanks for the feedbacks guys, but I made a big mistake. I was wanting to ask about Tavon Wilson, not Tavon Austin, LOL. Congrats about resigning Vollmer. As far as Chung is concerned, I thought he played well in 2010 and part of 2011, before his injury. Profootball Focus gave him...

    DJ Hayden!!

Hey guys, I'm back. Actually, the reason was to ask how you guys feel about Tavon Austin (and Patrick Chung when he was healthy and with the Pats.) I like those guys out of college. But when I saw the D.J. Hayden thread, I thought I'd jump in and share my two cents. If you've seen me posted on...

Idle thoughts - The Houston Match up. (Texan fans welcome)

Lots of things have to go right for the Texan's to pull out this upset. At least like the Jets game a couple of years back when Brady made some uncharacteristic errors, a botched faked punt, a dropped pass by a Pat in the endzone, things like that. It can happen :)

Idle thoughts - The Houston Match up. (Texan fans welcome)

But it is with Graham's blocking that the Texans can sustain drive in the running game. This is what I hoped for last game, but Graham wasn't able to play. I hope to see more of our big rookie RG Brandon Brooks. He didn't play much in the last game but he held his own when he was out there...

Idle thoughts - The Houston Match up. (Texan fans welcome)

Ruud used to be a pretty good LB; I don't know how healthy he is now, but his stats showed that he can defend a few passes and corner a few INTs. He made a few good plays for us in his limited role. I doubt that he still has the 4.65 speed he displayed at the combined. I think the Texans...

Idle thoughts - The Houston Match up. (Texan fans welcome)

If you look back at the win over the Cowboys, they had to start a guy named Jacque Reeves. If you think any of your CBs was bad last year, you should be glad Reeves isn't on your team. The previous win over the Chargers, both QBs had a bad day. The Chargers lost 3 fumbles and went down...

Idle thoughts - The Houston Match up. (Texan fans welcome)

Wade Phillips defense is what some coaches call a match-man or match-zone defense. It's similar the combination of match-zone and switch-man defense in basketball. In a nutshell, it matches up the closest defender to an offensive threat. But it'st not always like that. He mixes it...

    To the Texans Fans

Since you have been through it, you can PM one of the mods to inquire about these emails requirement. One of them is gwaiala who has been posting here for the last week with the same SN. He's also very even-keel.

    To the Texans Fans

Now that I remember, I also like to give prop to those who operate this board. The registration process and approval was quick. The response to "forgotten" password was also very quick. Very much appreciated from my corner.

    To the Texans Fans

I'm not one if the moderators, but there have been quite a few posts lately, even from our own posters, that there seems to be a delay or a problem. I will bring it to their attention. But honestly, why would you simply dislike Texans fans just because some MB failed to fulfill your...

A Texans fan says Patriots "borderline" cheated to neutralize Watt.

Please come to the texanstalk MB. It's a long story, but if you want to know the pulse, ya know. Go where the real locals go.

    To the Texans Fans

Another thing I want to mention is about penalties. We, as a bunch, discussed about them. We have agreed on quite a few that was called against us, all in the spirit of sportsmanship and the rules themselves. We are not homers, the culture of the board cultivate that sense. We will study...

    J.J. Watt = Gary Busey?

Hey guys (and gals), I've been lurking some more; I like your board; not much nonsense here, I will say. I would have liked to talk some more about the game, but really doesn't want to sound like sour grape, LOL. I read that some posters are concerned about Watt (something that has never...

    To the Texans Fans

Hey Pats fans, since many of you like J.J.Watt, I thought I'd share this really cool video clip that shows the humanity side that made him a fan favorite in Houston. I hope you will like the story as much as we do. J.J. Watt's Remarkable Friendship - YouTube

    To the Texans Fans

I just want to say thank you to all the Pats fans that have welcomed us to this board and/or joined the conversations on ours. It's been a pleasure; I normally don't visit opponents' MBs all that much. Good luck the rest of the way until we meet again. And Happy Holidays!

    To the Texans Fans

Well, that was easy! Just a beat down on so many levels. Congratulations. I'm sorry we couldn't give you a better game.

The key to running on the Texans.... base vs nickel defense

It's all good. Y'all ought to come down here for a tailgate. The welcome doesn't measure in size, like everything is big in Texas, it's in the things that you can't measure with numbers. Everybody stays safe and enjoys the game; it's been nice talking football and stuff with y'all :)

    Game Plan Thoughts for Houston?

Fair point, but Schaub and AJ are playing, same as OD, who also qualifies for the same. So will Hernandez. Guys like Gronskowki, Edelman, Graham, Cushing, on the other hand, will be cheering from the sideline.

    Game Plan Thoughts for Houston?

I think you ought to know that Greg Cosell, the NFL film guru, ranked Andre Johnson ahead of Megatron by a hair before this season started (meaning AJ is still more dangerous) and so far he's proven right.
