Indeed and I think you might well see an entire new business model opening up; frivolous lawsuits intended specifically to remove someone from the playing field. Since no real investigation by the police is ongoing, I think it would be prudent for the NFL to wait until the civil lawsuit plays...

The Seahawks sending Sherman to the Pats would all but guarantee a SB win for the Pats. That's why this trade probably doesn't happen. But, boy if it did. :cool:

There have been plenty worse Pats players than Blount over the years. I am thankful he was around to enjoy watch play.

His age is relevant because it may well be that, as he ages and gains more experience, he'll be even better than he has already demonstrated. I am not one to predict what BB might, or might not, do in the future but, if it turns out that Cooks is only here for 2 years, and his play...

I am not sure what is not to like with a guy who is just 23 years old, who can play all of our WR spots, who has speed and quickness unlike anything we have seen at the WR spot in quite some time and who has already proven himself to be an excellent NFL player.

Well, golly gee ..... go figure. For those who wanted someone who could take the top off opposing defenses, Cooks is that guy; and then some. Few, if any, defense is going to be able to man-up on Cooks. This will be great news for Gronk ... if he can stay healthy to benefit. Opposing DC's on...

If a team values Jimmy enough I see no reason why they wouldn't justify his current value as being equivalent to the first overall pick.
