Refs from yesterday - Blind, Deaf, Dumb?

only thing I saw in that play that could have been a real penalty was that the defender "launched" into TO....he didn't look very defenseless to me though. and someone esplain to me how the OchoChad85s catch at the sideline of the EZ wasn't a TD? even after review they said he was out of...

    Crable released

The guys on PFW In Progress casually mentioned yesterday that someone was in for a workout but didn't say who; then Crable gets cut later that day. Very interesting indeed, but it wouldn't surprise me to see a release/re-sign like TBC from last year

Brace is a healthy scratch....what a roller coaster that dude is:confused:

Curran: Pats looking into Vincent Jackson

The possible rewards outweigh the risks? Seriously? He guy is one step away from a full year suspension and obviously not the best on judgement to have gotten himself into this position in the first place. He may be a physical specimen but is he "smart" enough to play his system? If you're...

The Official "Pats Have a Second Half Problem" Thread

The way I see it is like this: the coaches come up with a game plan on both offense and defense, which is given to the players at the start of preparations for that game. The players then have a few days sessions to absorb the plan and practice against the scout teams, which gives the coaches...

Meriweather on why he didn't start

I was listening to an interview with Meriweather just after last season or early in tracining camp and he was asked about all the missed tackles the Pats D had last season, and if they where working on that to get it corrected. his answer? he didn't see it as a problem and what they needed to...

    Gostkowski extended through 2014

on the field goals there's only one difference (known outside of the halls of Gillette...presented by raytheon) between the most accurate kicker in franchise history and this years Ghost: holder. could be that The Zoltan is a good punter and a bad holder

    Fred Taylor - Play-action to Frontside block?....WOW!

noticed that one as well...thought to myself "either Brady has A LOT of trust in Taylor or he needs to tune that 6th sense of his". great play by Fred on that one no doubt

Pats place Welker, Crable, Weston on Active/PUP; Jenkins and T. Johnson to Active/NFI

Re: Welker, Crable Placed on Active PUP not sure even that would do it.....must be photos of Kraft.

It's not all black and white

this was not a "troll post" or forum grenade, been busy at work so I haven't been keeping up. Luckily there where only two games where there was a complete collapse of all pieces at once (Saints and Playoff Ravens), what I was trying to say is that it was a complete collapse due to one or...

It's not all black and white

All through the season and now in, what is for us anyway, the offseason I've been reading the posts of forum members who know what "the problem" was for the team. These posts inevitably deteriorate into religious debates and sometimes even go downhill from there. I would like to take a minute...

    Brace vs. Bills

You use different techiques fighting just one guy, he's used to fighting mobs, you know, for charity and stuff....

Reiss and Curran both report Taylor, Neal, Wilfork, Pryor, Warren, Kaczur all out

Re: Reiss and Curran both report Taylor, Neal, Wilfork, Pryor, Warren all out if brace doesn't see significant game time tomorrow then just cut him....I do reserve the right to say just cut him even if he does see the field as well

Warren says Adalius Thomas leaked "LateGate" news

d%#*!@t I knew this was going to go down like this as soon as I heard it...key phrase is HEARD IT. HE WAS LAUGHING THE ENTIRE TIME HE WAS SAYING IT and was busting a joke on Holly because Holly has been saying the whole show that AD is the one that called her. Listen to the interview on EEIs...

Interesting info about Pats locker room from Breer

The PFW in Progress guys said the same thing, they where shocked by the defensive backs joking around and laughing in the locker room after the Miami game. someone wrote in and made a good point, Pats may have brought in too many okay players from crappy teams who don't view losing as that big...

SMY: Moss, Burgess, Guyton, and Thomas sent home Wed after late for 8am meeting

The majority of the players all live in the same little area around North Attleboro. there aren't a ton of roads in and out of Gillette unless you want to include the backwoods routes and if you take those on a morning like this morning then that calls into question your basic judgment...

SMY: Moss, Burgess, Guyton, and Thomas sent home Wed after late for 8am meeting

If I get to work half hour late because of a car accident and all of my co-workers are already there and got there on time even though we all live in close proximity and drive the same roads then I expect I'd be in some trouble.

    PFW In Progress

If you have trouble with the paper getting to you late then you can do the online thing; login to the website using your subscription info and download the paper. I listen to most every show as a podcast, I can't listen live while I'm at work. good stuff for the most part but every once in a...
