The Official Patriots vs Ravens AFC Championship Game thread

the Ravens are the tougher team and we just look silly out there. Pathetic effort.

He may have been down - if not, and they score, I will concede. What a crap game.

The Pats are losing this game because they deserve to lose it and Ravens are winning it because they deserve to win it. It is as simple as that.

And for those that argued earlier this year that it was not Talib that was making such a big difference in the Pats secondary play as much as it was the DB’s improving over the course of the season, can we finally put that argument to rest?

Once Talib went out of this game, the Pats were left with their little pregnant roller skate secondary again and the bigger Ravens receivers just went right over the top of them.

Talib was the only guy BB had that could play defense that way in the Secondary. As many of us said earlier this year, BB has got to stop drafting these cookie cutter DB.s as they are simply not big enough and not athletic enough. They may be smart but that does not do them much good when the receiver can just reach 5’6” over their heads or can make athletic plays they are simply not capable of stopping or making themselves.

Who will start the "Felger knows his Sh**" thread

Nothing going right. This one stings.

Brady lost his edge a while ago. He is not clutch anymore. Hasn't been for a while. This team needs a legitimate pass rusher and a #1 WR. And no, Ninkovich is NOT our answer to the former.

what about a freakin' flag for helmet to helmet....................and guess who Pollard. I don't wish injuries on anyone but this thug has it coming

Brady,
Gronkowski,
and now Ridley

Lack of vertical offense(Gronk) and Injuries(Talib) ended our game today unfortunately, and yet another missed chance for Brady in his final stretch.

Ouch.....going out very weakly! KNow they are going to run and can't stop it. Double ouch

Well, another season where we lucky Pats fans get a longer season than almost everyone else, but it sure sucks that we finished was such a whimper. Neither our O or D looked good in this game.

It feels very much like same **** different year for the Patriots doesn't it. Congratulations to Baltimore. They talked smack and beat New England up. I've seen that happen before...

hahhahahahahhahahhahahahahha

pats are overrated

brady is overrated

belichik is overrated

you won by cheating

you can't anymore now ahahahha

If there is a silver lining - the refs did not decide the outcome. :(

Pats got completely outplayed tonight in every phase of the game, really. D played well in the first half but got shredded in the second. The offense couldn't do jack squat. And both turnovers were the result of bad luck - Ridley's KO fumble that hit his knee instead of the ground, and the tipped INT - but the Pats didn't come close to getting a turnover of their own.

Very, very discouraging performance tonight.

Nice to know you can hit people in the head, not get flagged AND get the fumble.

Tom Brady one touchdown all day. Another classic Brady choke job in the big game. Almost a decade now. Nothing new here.

Three consecutive series ended like this:

1. Welker's drop
2. Solder's holding penalty (phantom)
3. Ridley's non-fumble (yes, his shin was down)
