One other thing I think is frustrating is that, at the end of the day, it's all about doing the right thing regardless of who it is, and I feel a responsibility to everyone here to get that right. Some day, after I'm long gone, or the site is gone, or whatever, I don't ever want people to look back and think of me as someone who didn't at least try to always do that.

Again, the severity of what occurred is what caused her removal. Pretty sure you guys have to know if I made that call, it required a seriously good reason for me to do something that extreme.

Ian is just asking people to be more courteous to others who want to discuss different aspects of the team in various threads, god forbid maybe even in an optimistic light, and not take every thread over like its a bullet train after putting a hole in the conductors head, taking all the passengers for a ride

and he goes to extreme lengths to implement tools for people so that they can take matters into their own hands, which is as fair a system as I've ever seen on a message board

oh for sure, i have a long checkered resume on this forum as well lol.. he's been very fair and tolerant of me, growing from a punk teenager to a 40 year old, heavier set, punk man

I love this place as well, spend way more time than I should here lol. Have never put anyone on ignore, I even enjoy the wet blankets on occasion and can appreciate some of the ways they change the calculus, and if i've had enough of them I just move on to the next post.. but its great that people have all kinds of options to adapt their experience on this forum to their preference, while still being inclusive of everyone, even assholes like us

I'd like to address the "let it go" issue if I may. If you really think about it this started when fans started complaining about fans like myself who weren't happy with the move and expressed those thoughts here. That was why Ian created a separate Brady forum and it happened pretty soon, not years later.

And if anyone thinks that fans are going to simply forget about the errors that Bill makes (and this was his biggest by far) then they don't know sports fans. Like it or not, I can see it getting worse if the Pats go on a long run of mediocrity.
