Belichick looks old and outclassed. Been saying for 2 yrs, his time has come and gone. His philosophy is antiquated and isn't fooling anyone. Chess v chequers my ass. Retire already old man.

I don't care what was said about him in Detroit as a head coach. You're never going to be able to run a passable offense with a skittish, afraid QB who is a turnover machine. You can't win this way.

Bill O'Brien doesn't look any better with Mac. And it's not because Alabama fans hated O'Brien and were glad to se him gone even more than Lions fan were happy that Patricia was fired.
Patricia objectively was a godawful play caller and a ****ty OC. Mac or no Mac he sucked and pretending he didn't is absurd. He only ever was a half decent DC when he had an embarrassment of riches with the mid 2010's stacked defense, and almost every DC after him did better. He flat out sucked.

Btw I'll let you in on another secret. Independent of the QB's quality, you are never going to run a passable offense with a line this bad that gets this many penalties, mediocre WR's like this who can't get seperation and aren't playmakers, and running backs this unproductive. It doesn't happen in the modern NFL. Mac has his issues. But it's homerish to look for one guy to blame for everything. The team sucks. Everyone who was even a little honest with themselves knew that going into this season. It doesn't matter who the QB is, put Patrick Mahomes on this team and he's pulling the 2019 Brady sob story and making waves. They might win a couple more games, but they will either be 1 and done or just miss the playoffs. Only difference is, a QB like that would have the cache to clue everyone into the sad fact that HOF coach is the problem right now and his team building has been an albatross for 5 years. Then maybe people would wake up and we'd actually make the hard decisions neccessary to improve this team

extending davante parker made no sense. He’s invisible rn
he does what Bill tells him to do and doesn't talk out of school...that's what gets you an extension from Bill

It must be that Bill has already decided to tank the season?
Bill won't. And sadly he'll find a way to beat up on mediocre teams to screw us in the draft and then he'll stay put watching a bunch of skill players get drafted and then he'll trade out.

Every good thing Mac has done so far this season (and I've liked a lot of what I've seen so far in 2023) has been undone in this game. He looks as bad as he ever did in 2022. I don't know what the hell is going on, but he sure as **** can't blame Matt Patricia for it anymore.
Welcome to the dark side.

It's gonna end up being Mahomes
Unless he's top of the league in some major stats or pulls out some crazy wins... he shouldn't. If he still does, then the award has lost all meaning and significance.

Onwenu, a player I thought was a building block, should probably be benched based on the first half mistakes.

He is costing himself tons of money next offseason. He started the year as one of the potentially most sought after 2024 free agents. He keeps playing like this, he will have to take a one year prove it deal.

What would it even take to pry one of those picks from the Bears? If they agree not to take the QB we could try trading up to #2?
They'd probably ask for Belichick in exchange for the 2.

Just looking at the oddsmakers

You way underestimate how horribly bad our QB is

I am ready to see BB walk.

Look at the bright side fellas, the way things have gone so far we’re on pace to draft high in the next draft. Good thing we have great GM who knows how to draft…
If this keeps up, the only thing he’ll be drafting is a resignation letter.
