I’d prefer Beck or the LSU kid if we go that route.
If they start to deliberately lose games I'm not going to watch. They owe it to fans to try to win each game. Tickets aint cheap and I'm paying for NFL+ to watch the game replays as I work most sundays. I'll watch as long as they dont give up even if they lose every game. Even as losers it is fun to root for and see upsets like they did to the Bills.
Yeah, i don't know how he can continue to take these ugly beat downs with his past success. I don't know which would be more dignified resigning now or at the end of the season when the record will be much worse.Listening to Bill. I think there's a chance he might say to himself,"This is over. I'm going to end it on my terms, starting now." I just don't see how anything other than a resignation will get the job done though, so.....
Oh heck yes for a 5 or 6. It seemed some were suggesting a 2….hell no.Ewers has been riding pine with an injury. Let's see how he comes back. I'd spend a 5 or 6 on him.
What Shula* had going for him was longevity. He got a HC job at a young enough age to put in a lot of years. He's like the Yaz of the NYFL.Right, but you forget he also had Johnny Unitas and Bob Griese
well going on BB's decisions this season, whomever has the best week of practice will sit on the bench.Bill very much unwilling to discuss his reasoning for benching Mac at his presser. Everything essentially answered with “we’ll deal with that next week”. Have to assume they make a starting QB change over the bye. Only question is if it ends up being Zappe, Grier or Cunningham. I’m sure they’ll take a couple days to evaluate everyone.
Since 2005 the Super Bowl winning head coaches were Cowher, Dungy, Coughlin, Tomlin, Payton, McCarthy, Harbaugh, Carroll, Belichick, Kubiak, Pederson, Reid, Arians, and McVay.People overrate coaching in the modern era coaching doesn't matter if you have bottom 5 quarterback play you're going to suck and that's just all there is to it and bad coaching only matters in the post season if you have a top 10 guy, you're going to get a decent record no matter who the coach is.
Classic case 2012-14 Colts drafted Andrew Luck, 33-15 in 3 years with Chuck Pagano one of the biggest dopes in the league and Ryan Grigson who makes Bill look like an all time great GM.
Suckbag roster, suckbag coach, suckbag GM, crackhead owner 33-15. They didnt get beyond the AFCCG cause their operation sucked but they still won big despite serious disfunction, if you get the quarterback you're going to have a 10-11 win product.
He was a few years before I started watching. 1969/70 coach of the Boston Patriots. He was 6-22. 4-10 in 1969.How 'bout the Clive Rush/Joe Kapp year?
He also didn’t play the entire game week 18. They would’ve won.Brady just had his first losing season last year because his coaching sucked.
Still, quadruple coverage. And someone should tell him of the old saying about assumptions.Seems clear to me that Zappe thought it was a free play on the fake spike, probably due to offsides, so he let it fly. Then discovered there was no flag and was displeased. But he won’t criticize the refs since he can’t afford the fine at his salary.
Hardly a fireable offense. What an amazing call attempting a low percentage punt block allowing the Colts to switch field position.
Has BB been fired yet?
I did notice him getting abused by BucknerThe only way that Mac Jones is ever going to be able to recover his career is if he starts going to a Sports Psychologist regularly. All I know is that it won't be with the Patriots.
One can only hope that they Give Will Grier the snaps to see what he can do. Otherwise, they'll need to sign someone short term while they draft someone.
Unfortunately, Onwenu showed today why he's better at guard than Tackle. Not the only issue today, but one that definitely stood out.
