PostGame Thread 23 Official Week 10 PostGame NE vs IND Reactions

Immediate Postgame Reactions
Dobbs and Stroud both had huge wins today.
Looks like the Mac Jones era is ovah in New England.
The defense did a great job today with no pass rush.
The plays have been there all season. Pats don't have the talent to complete them.
Yes they did a great job. I also think the Pats could do a lot worse than having Bill step back in to the DC role where it all started. He can then focus on what he’s always done best and what he had the luxury of doing when Tb12 was here.

Won’t happen though. Too bad.

Passed over in the draft without a doubt.

Passed over on the waiver wire? Doubtful.
What about free agents only offered a contract by one team?

May be having to revise that first sentence soon.

why is our passing game so bad if we run the ball so effective and well like today?
Where is the PA?

what do you expect? i think we would have been better if zappe played the whole game
Zappe is not an NFL level starting QB. If he can’t handle coming in a game as the backup without “reps”- literally his job as a backup then he isn’t a backup caliber QB either. Hopefully when both him and Jones are gone this winter we get a half decent QB room here.

Replace talent with QB.

Ian: "One takeaway from Sunday’s loss to Indianapolis in Frankfurt, Germany, is that the New England Patriots certainly don’t appear to have lost any faith in head coach Bill Belichick, at least if what we saw overall is any indication."

Who exactly is the "the New England Patriots" here? The Krafts? The team? I mean, "what we saw overall" was utter futility. If you mean that the team made an effort, I get it, sorta, though if this is result when they put in an effort, can we really sing the praises of either the HC who led them or the GM who chose them? If you refer to the Krafts, I doubt they are as gratified as you seem to imply.

I'd like to respectfully ask to stop calling Mac Jones 'Corky' as an insult. If it's intended to reference the character with Downs Syndrome in the old TV show, it's not a worthy insult. Unless you happen to be using it as a term of honor? Corky persevered through much adversity, and was inspirational to many.

I doubt that's the intent, however.

starting near your own endzone with no timeouts and under 2 minutes left, need to score TD because 4 points behind thanks to the huge overdrafted fecking speacial teams kicker is a bad situation to put your second year player in

Not sure about QBs but my guy 8th Rd draft pick TB80 (Pats HoF) was out of the league working at the Boys and Girls Club but was able to come back thanks to a Ronnie Harris fumble.
