People know who I choose. :)

Just curious how many do you think Tom would have had if BB wasn't always getting in the way? 8, 9, maybe even 10?

Looking back at it, I wish Bill would have just traded #15 for Jimmy G back in 2021. Mac would’ve been avoided, Jimmy would have looked good-ish for a few games and then gotten hurt and they would’ve had to move on to a new plan shortly thereafter. McDaniels probably wouldn’t have gotten the Raiders job as a result of making Mac look good in 2021 since Mac wouldn’t have been here, so they wouldn’t have had the massive coaching brain drain that resulted from McDaniels’ exodus. They probably would have been playing Stidham or something. We would’ve gotten to this point sooner and avoided all the ridiculousness of the last two seasons.

Obviously no way to know all of this then, but interesting to think about.

8 after stupidly benching Butler.
If they didn't stupidly keep having Maroney run into a brick wall over and over in the 2006 conference title game, they probably would have just won that and beat the bricks off the Bears. Could have gotten to 4 a lot earlier and gotten revenge for 85.

There are multiple areas to start, but we have to prioritize. One stat i saw was rushed on 50% of drop-backs. Yikes.

Just a really hard game to watch and change for the sake of change is necessary.
Other teams crowd the short areas because they aren't afraid of Mac long. And they don't care about run blitzing us either. The OL and RBs did a great job today of avoiding the run blitzes and taking advantage of the space opened up. Mac had it on a plate today. OL mauling people, 150+ yds running, and a defense that only gave up 10 points, and even a short field.

I hope this is the last we see of him as a Starter.

To some I wonder if they think Tom should have 20 if we didn’t saddle him with a bad coach.
Yep, they probably think that Tom could have won 10 SB's with the Jets, their coaches and organzation.

The problem in that game was that a virus went through the locker room that week, and, in particular, defensive players were dropping like flies. They had to have Eric Alexander on the field for that final Colts TD.

You're not serious with this ****, are you?
They are simply stats. He shared them with no editorial.

Honestly, reading them is like an ink blot test.

Confused about your response.

And the heat was turned up in the dome, they had the lead but once they started dropping it went sideways. Still thought Tom was gonna win it at the end though.

The defense doesn’t even matter. Receivers get open and he doesn’t throw to them. He really has no clue what he is doing back there.

Yep. It's so dumb.

You can add Chuck Noll/Bradshaw to that list as well.
Particularly when you consider that in both cases, Cleveland and NE, 2020, we’re talking about rebuilding a roster from an empty pantry.

I doubt any coach would have a better record with the Pats 2020 - present, but the team might have some better pieces with someone else.

I feel like it was the 2020 off-season that we might have been trying to get him and I always kind of felt like that's how we ended up with Cam so late. 2021 seemed like they were ready to draft one. So I just blame Shanahan for not giving us Jimmy and then he should of selected Mac too and who knows what we do at 15 then.

The worst part of it was the refs.

OPI on Troy Brown takes points off the board.

Reche Caldwell molested in the end zone, no call.

Ellis hobbs was faceguarding BUT he didn't touch the WR at all. PI in the end zone.

On and on.

?? Garoppolo was their starter. They went to the 2020 Super Bowl.
