Getting Trent Brown vibes.Same. Makes you wonder if the source is actually just Calvin Ridley saying they need to come with a huge bag. And even if somehow they do pony up, do you really want him if he actually wanted to be somewhere else? Yeah, he'll probably get over it, but are you getting 90% effort for the next 3-4 years?
ven Ridley is better and younger trust me and I like Williams too.I think $17M for Williams is below market. I would do that pronto.
What's the market on Ridley (29)? $22M aav?
I'd rather trade for Williams w/ a 4th Rd pick.
Especially when no one is going to pick up his option to be a backup. So it's a one-year rental.I don't know why people want Justin Fields. He isn't good. He shows brief flashes, but that is about it.
The state tax thing is a little overblown. Can't blame him to be honest. State taxes, better offense, better QB, and closer to winning
Only 1 year though and he's coming back from an ACL injury. He may not be his full self until a little bit of the way into the season. Ideally you would extend him but then you would need to pay market rate for future years.I think $17M for Williams is below market. I would do that pronto.

I'd move on now. Gonna leak crap to the press that your player prefers Jax... call their bluff. If I'm Wolf

I'm on a Island but I think AVP and our new Coaching Staff could fix Fields.I don't know why people want Justin Fields. He isn't good. He shows brief flashes, but that is about it.
Another situation like Wilson where we should offer to take a contract or two and a 3rd for a 2nd. Uses our cap space while adding an extra pick theoretically while adding some talent and leadership for a year or two, even if overpricedLooking at some of the Chargers' potential cap casualties/possible trade bait, current cap #, annual contracts, and age (in 2024).
LAC is currently $26 million over the cap, and needs to fix that by tomorrow.
In regards to @DW Toys suggestion of a trade: I think that would make sense for a team that is already a playoff contender - but much less so for a team that is rebuilding. My concern woul be that they are here for only a year or two, then leave in free agency. That's an acceptable trade-off for a contender; less so for a rebuilding team.
Now if you want to try and sign one of these players after they are released, without having to trade awat draft capital - that's a different consideration.

I don’t think they believe so.I'm on an Island but I think AVP and our new Coaching Staff could fix Fields.
Brissett is gonna be a backup just not a back up to FieldsI don’t think they believe so.
I don’t think Jacoby came to be a backup.
And he is the perfect Bridge QB and he’s a great teammate and captain.
Jax's thinking about that Second they could get another WR in this Strong WR Draft they already have C Kirk.If I'm Wolf

To me this is just the business side of football, and Ridley's agents are probably doing all the leaks/negotiations.I'd move on now. Gonna leak crap to the press that your player prefers Jax... call their bluff.
No doubtHis competition is going to be the rookie, I think.
It feels like if they player wanted to stay in Jax, he'd take what they are offering and stay. My guess is they aren't offering anywhere close... or... The Pats are the only ones talking. Either way, it's a red flag to me, on a player with lots of them.To me this is just the business side of football, and Ridley's agents are probably doing all the leaks/negotiations.
