I think as a PS player with time to learn and appreantly heal up I think it is a great idea.
Right now I see Will Allen as the 5th safety and 6th CB and ideally a game day inactive. So if Ebner is kept he would need to be the 4th safety and ST core player. Missing two weeks of camp makes me...
Each day Ebner does not practice I have him slipping back.
I agree, sort of. I definitly want some more beef on the line that can play 3-4 DE as well as 4-3 DT.
I down grade Brace for Francis right now just because Brace has disappointed me in the past. I also at times cut Trevor Scott...
Small nit pick, you only have 5 line backers not 6. (The numbers do not add up until you actually count the names.
Right now I have a similar projection. Few differences.
I have Stallworth not making the team and 5 WR.
I have Tarpinian making the team and 6 LB
I have Justin Francis...
I love these type of lists:
1: E. Brown, M. Jenkins, or D. Butler
2a. C. Barwin, L. English, A. Smith
2b. R. Johnson
2c. J. Merideth
3a. J. Brinkley
3b. K. Urbik
Re: Riess interview: Butler........#23
I think BB would take him and would it be a mistake as large as bringing in that big Wooden Horse. Unless he is going to be converted to defense, specifically DB or OLB, then the real value is not there.
I think the secondary abounds with oppurtunities to upgrade.
Corner: With Samuel gone, the secondary lost its elite player and the group as a whole went from average to bad. That viod has yet to be filled. The current FA group brought in improve the back-end of the CB position but do little...
Well, I rarely dream in trades, so here is my Christmas list for Santachick,
23 - C. Barwin (OLB)
34 - K. Britt (WR)
47 - L. Delmas (S)
58 - J. Meredith (OT)
89 - K. Urbik (OG)
97(c) - Kyle Moore (DE)
124 - J. Brinkley (ILB)
170 (c) - Sammie Lee Hill (DT/DE)
199 - D. Johnson (CB)...
It is possible. I do not see it as the best option. I like the idea of getting push inside, but with the personel currently on the team, I think generating that pressure is best from another athletic ILB. The key is going to be what will happen with Wilfork and Seymour. If they cannot be...
All depends on your evaluation of the current corners on the team and the value of the guys in the draft.
Me I have the heretical view that you can never have too many good corner backs. Against the passing attacks in the NFL and 3 and 4 WR sets, you need guys that can cover.
The team...
